Blazing Glory Ch. 14

This is a work of my own creation and, being so, is a parody of many races of fantasy that have been created over the past century. Any similarity of characters with real world is either coincidence or intended with implied differences (Example: If I wanted to write a story on say Jasmine of Disney because she's hot, the character will be similar in appearance but different physically in ways as well as psychologically). Under no circumstances should anyone under 18, or 21 (under local government law), or any non-Adult read this! This work contains graphic violence and acts of pornography. Regardless of description (or me simply forgetting to state it in the story), none of the characters in my stories are intended to be under eighteen years of age.

With that disclaimer aside, sit back and enjoy the stories filled with sex and (gasp!) plot.

Chapter 14 – Mistress of Chaos

Stone blocks exploded outward into the hall, the thunderous sound of the shattered barrier's pieces crashing to the floor in a cacophony of noise. Through the falling debris flew a lone figure, crashing with sickening thud against the wall on the other side of the hallway. The stone along its expanse cracked with the impact yet managed to maintain its structural integrity.

Blood erupted from Lexiss's mouth, feeling every bone and organ in her body seemingly crushed in that moment. Her wide eyes looked on in horror as her bloody form slid down the wall. Through the dust and falling debris, a figure out of her nightmares looked on with silhouette half turned from the punch that had sent her flying. Those glowing green eyes made her want to scream and beg for mercy despite the fact that she couldn't with her shattered jaw.

"You," Kendra's voiced hissed with trembling fury, causing tears to flood from terrified shadow mistress's eyes. The naked succubus began to walk towards the woman, the shadow demon spitting up blood, before Blaze jumped in front of her. His arms wrapped about her in an effort to stop the enraged demoness.

"Kendra, stop this!" He yelled as his feet slid backward. The simple act of her walking in this state felt like trying to stop a moving mountain. He looked back at the stunned drow sisters "Save her! We still need her!" Both Rae and Rizarra snapped out of it to rush to the side of the dying avatar. He saw both make physical contact to flood her with healing magic.

It had happened so quickly. When he had finally recovered consciousness, Rizarra and Lexiss had entered to inform them that the dungeon halls were still clear with no sign of their presence being discovered. Rae finished freeing Kendra from her bonds as he looked about to see the decapitated body of Merodach lying on the floor. The drowess made quick work of picking the lock to the collar about the demon's neck before tossing the thing away in disgust. He watched it clatter across the floor noisily, happy to see such a horrible thing removed from her. How could Mero be so cruel to treat her like a slave? Wasn't she the daughter of his queen? Blaze's mind was still a haze after having seen Kendra bloodied from Mero's cruel beating. Mouth opening to ask what had happened; his words were cut off as Kendra asked first.

"Who are they?" She asked, mistrust in her tone as she rose to her feet while observing to two strangers in such close proximity of this gathering. Blaze shook his head as he should have realized sooner that Kendra would not know them and be suspicious of their presence.

"Oh, them? This is Rae's sister, Rizarra. We are in her drow city. The other is the one who helped us find her as well as you. She is Lexiss Makora," Blaze answered. Those last words had barely left his lips when the blurred movement startled everyone. The reaction from the succubus had been instantaneous as she lashed out with lightning speed combined with demonic strength. Lexiss was sailing through the air before any of them were aware of what transpired.

Blaze cursed himself as he threw himself back into Kendra, trying to slow her down. Why hadn't he foreseen this reaction? He had been so caught up in rescuing her that he had not remembered Kendra's hatred. The succubus had made it no secret that she harbored an intense hatred for Lexiss after what she had done to the man she had loved. He doubted Kendra would ever forget her name so long as she existed.

"I'll rip her limb from limb," Kendra hissed by his ears. The fury in her tone sent a terrifying chill down his spine.

"Kendra!" He shouted, moving his face to look into hers to break her gaze from Lexiss. "Stop this! I know you hate her for what she did, but she helped us save you. If not for her, we likely would never have found you as quickly as we did."

Kendra blinked as she shook her head, not wanting to hear it. She remembered those long hours of hearing him scream in agony. All those tears of grief she had shed were caused by this woman. She had not only disemboweled the him, but placed a curse on him to destroy his soul. There was no forgiving such a despicable act. Her feet stopped as the glow faded from her eyes.

"I can't," She whispered, "I can't forgive her for nearly taking you from me forever."

"I understand, believe me. You do not have to forgive her. But do not kill her, please. She knows of Koas planning to renew the war with another wave of her forces," Blaze pleaded, hoping to reason with her with this revelation. "She has proven her worth in words in forsaking her goddess by saving my life as well as Rae's today."

"She saved you," Kendra looked to him with surprise, as if unsure to laugh at the very idea that the same woman who had nearly killed him could be capable of such a reversal. When Blaze nodded, she looked around him to the dazed shadow mistress, slumped against the wall as she recovered. Rae glanced back from where she knelt and nodded in affirmation of his words being true. Looking back to Blaze, she merely nodded in acquiescence. "I'll allow her to live then, but I will never forgive her no matter what good she does from here on."

Blaze's shoulders slumped as the wave of relief came over him. When he looked back up, his breath left him as he looked into those emerald green eyes. Once again, he was reminded of her unworldly beauty. It was ages ago but only felt like recently that he had been the naïve adventurer coming upon the domineering demon. At first their relationship had been one of tense suspicion of each other before becoming one of a pleasant partnership. Those feelings had quickly evolved into the intense love he held for her. The same loved he saw reflected in her eyes. One corner of her pale lips turned upward in a knowing smile. By Stavros, he had missed her.

Hands firmly gripping her, her pulled her naked body against his swiftly as his lips captured hers. Those soft, luscious tiers eagerly accepted his loving embrace as her wings wrapped about him. Kendra's hands roamed up his neck to entangle her fingers in his hair while their tongues danced with each other. She moaned softly into his mouth, her body pressing into his as he stole her breath away with the ferocious passion of his lips. For long minutes, the lovers simply held each other and kissed, drinking in each other's presence that had long been missed. Even if only for a number of days, it might as well have been an eternity for both.

A clearing of a throat brought them out of their euphoric embrace and their lips parted. Blaze looked to see Rae waiting patiently next to her gawking sister. If he didn't know any better, he could have sworn Rizarra was envious. Lexiss leaned against the wall, hand rubbing her head, as she still tried to regain her wits.

Death's Mistress fixed him with a firm stare, "Blaze, why didn't you tell us your blades were Natori? Knowing their capabilities ahead of time could have saved us quite a bit of trouble." The warrior blinked as confusion filled him. What was she talking about? He looked over his shoulder to his swords in the scabbards on his back.

"What do you mean?" he responded truthfully, not understanding as all eyes now focused on him. Their looks were all filled with knowing something that he did not. He had yet to be filled in on what had transpired with Merodach. His head began to ache from all of this.

"Blaze," Kenda spoke quietly with her gaze downcast before looking up to him, "In your blind rage, you decapitated Merodach. Any normal weapon of this world would have shattered attempting such a feat on an immortal. They can only be one of the ancient Natori weapons. Where did you get those swords?"

"Natori?" He whispered in shock. The look in Kendra's eyes spoke of the utmost certainty of what she had said. He had killed Merodach when he should have failed in any other circumstance is what she was telling him. "They were gifts."

Rae shook her head and threw her hands up in disbelief. "Weapons that can destroy the gods themselves were simply given to you? These relics of the ancients are protected by denizens of the gods to prevent them falling into the hands of mortals. To retrieve them alone you would have to put yourself in constant peril. Don't be silly and expect us to beli..." Rae's voice trailed off as she saw the tears running down Blaze's cheeks.

"They belonged to my master," he whispered and he wiped his eyes. "I had thought them old and useless compared to the gilded weaponry he had received as gifts from important people and royalty from around the world. I was upset thinking they were simple hand-me-downs he wanted to get rid of. These swords had always been with him in combat and were special to him. He told me he wished to pass it down to his son as his father did to him."

Rizarra sighed as she looked to her sister, "It is possible. Some Natori artifacts could have been lost in the chaos during the war with the gods and passed down through generations unknowingly."

"That is why they were important to him as they had belonged to his family for centuries," Blaze said, nodding to what Rizarra said as true. "But he was impotent from so many fierce battles that took its toll on his body. I was such a fool then to resent being given weapons I thought lesser of my worth. Only after he was gone did I appreciate them and why he gave them to me. Now you are telling me they are worth even more than all those weapons from kings and countries around the world?"

"Xas," Rae nodded. "No amount of wealth could equal the worth of Natori weaponry. And with those weapons you could put an end to this war by ending Koas herself." His attention snapped up to look to Rae with those words. He glanced over Kendra. The succubus nodded in affirmation that this could be the solution they were looking for in stopping the schemes of the dark goddess. Could he really do it? Kill a god? Wouldn't the very act be like declaring war on all deities as did the Natori of ancient times? After a few careful moments of consideration, Blaze looked to the rest of them to give his answer.

"Alright then, let us go confront the Mistress of Chaos," He said with a grin. "The violence and suffering her ambition causes has to come to an end. I see no other alternative other to convince her to stop or be destroyed." The others nodded and smiled to him. They were with him in this decision and would do their utmost to make sure he was successful. He looked to the former avatar of the dark goddess looking downcast as they discussed this. Walking over to Lexiss, he placed a reassuring hand upon her shoulder. "I know this may be hard on you, but we need your help in getting to where Koas is."

"Please," she whispered, looking up to him with a fearful gaze, "Don't make me go back there. Even though she created me from her very being, that place is no longer my home. Koas will undoubtedly kill me once she finds out what I have done."

Blaze could feel her whole body trembling uncontrollably through his hand. If there was one thing the shadow mistress feared more than a wrathful Kendra, it was the horrible fate that awaited her upon returning to Koas. He sighed before nodding in sympathy. He would not ask her again now that she had shown him her terror of going back.

"Lexiss, hear me out then. Go to Stavros," he stated simply.

"Stavros? I do not understand what you mean," Lexiss responded with a confused look.

"I know you may have caused him and his people trouble in the past, but seek his protection. As further proof to all of us here as well as Stavros, pledge your loyalty to him by serving as his avatar," he explained.

The other women looked on in surprise at he what he had suggested. With her acting as a personal avatar of Stavros, she would be under his protection. An attempt on her life would result in severe consequences. Most gods recognized this fact in their desires to avoid needless spats with each other. So long as Stavros agreed to take her in. The young warrior had a hard time believing the deity would refuse after seeing the turnaround in Lexiss.

"How do we find our way to Koas without her then?" Rae asked what they were all thinking.

"I can help," Rizarra spoke up. "I know a few routes to the other side from the intelligence reports we drow have gathered. That will allow her to take her leave of us and go to Stavros." Blaze nodded and couldn't help but sigh a little in relief. In the end, this was the best for Lexiss. It put her out of harm's way. They would separate here now that she was done assisting in the search for Kendra.

"But aren't you forgetting something important, Blaze? Before you leave," Lexiss spoke as those purple eyes looked up to him, realizing the approaching time of parting as well. "You agreed to repay me for helping you find Kendra." Rae sighed heavily, rolling her eyes as she folded her arms across her chest. The drowess fixated him with a stare that she had warned him. Scratching the back of his head, Blaze remembered that he did agree to her terms with little thought of what she may want.

He looked at what they had on them, not much in coin or possessions to part with. What could she want then? "I did, didn't I? But we really don't have much to give you at the mome-"

"Make love to me, please!" Lexiss cut him off abruptly, her hands desperately clutching at his sleeve.

"What?..." A dangerous voice echoed in the hall, causing them all to freeze. Blaze swallowed deeply as he broke into a cold sweat, turning his head slightly to see Kendra trembling in barely controlled rage. Her lowered gaze caused her bangs to cover her eyes, but the scowl her lips wore were enough to cause Lexiss to shrink behind him in fear. Both Rae and Rizarra gave incredulous looks to the shadow mistress as if she had a crazy death wish.

"Please understand," Lexiss said behind him, her words more to him than anyone else. "All I've known is darkness and pain in my existence. I could feel your intimacy even then, despite the aphrodisiac I used on you. I just want to experience what they have with you, but with no more hiding in the shadows or ill will between us."

"Kendra," Blaze said her name softly, trying to soothe her as best he could.

"You may have saved him once today, but that doesn't erase your past actions," Kendra said, voice growling as her body shook with growing fury. "And now, right before me, you demand that he become intimate with you in the way that he is with me and the others?"

Blaze had to stabilize the situation before the succubus lost all control. "Kendra, please! This was my fault as it was my decision to agree blindly to her demands. If you want to take your anger out on anyone, take it out on me."

Kendra blinked. The thought of hurting him like she wanted to do to Lexiss was so incomprehensible that it snapped her out of it. Shaking her head, she stepped back from him. "Fine," she sighed. Seeing his resolve, the demoness turned to give Lexiss a warning glare, "Try anything that harms him in any way and I will make sure what just happened seem like a slap across the back of your wrist."

"Thank you, Kendra," he sighed in relief. Blaze could feel Lexiss trembling behind him. She did not doubt the words of the succubus. Understanding the truth behind Kendra's powers now, he knew full well that his lover was far from exaggerating with her threat. Those green eyes fixated him firmly.

"Don't take too long. I'm going to pay a visit to some former comrades of mine. I expect you to be finished by the time I return," She stated coolly before turning about and walking down the hall. Blaze looked after her with concern before realizing she meant the horde of demons on the other side of the building. He immediately became worried that she would be overwhelmed and captured once more. That is, until he saw her cracking her knuckles. Her nude body was tense, like a coiled snake ready to strike and bore all the lethal intent of doing so. A shiver ran down his spine as he now pitied the demons who did not know what was coming for them.

Rae looked back over to him and Lexiss before motioning, "We'd best have you to finish before she returns. Rae and I were lucky enough to bring you back from the brink of death. But we can't do so when you are nothing more than a blood stain, now can we?"

Rizarra looked to her sister and just about laughed as Lexiss stiffened in fear from the suggested gruesome fate. She turned about to walk after Kendra, waving her hand for them to follow. "Come. I had a personal room to use here while enjoying the entertainment of the arena. While I surmise it is thoroughly ruined like the others, I doubt they discovered the secret chamber I used for my Patrons and I to enjoy."

Death's Mistress sighed as she fell in behind Blaze and the shadow mistress. Lexiss was risking not only her life, but all of theirs by angering Kendra. Rae knew what the succubus was in truth as did Blaze after her revelation to them. Why risk causing Kendra to lose control of herself in rage and destroy the world for one romp in the sack with him? Then again, Rae thought to herself, this was Blaze after all. She'd risk much if it meant she could enjoy one last time with him in bed. Nor did Lexiss know Kendra's true nature either.

As her thoughts turned to it, she found herself surprised that Blaze had made no mention to Kendra yet that he knew. She supposed that he was giving Kendra her own time to reveal her secret when the time was right. Rae felt the guilt of having told to others before the demon could, especially considering her own secret she kept from them.

"This is it," Rizarra spoke up, jarring Rae out of her thoughts as her sister opened the door. Looking inside, they saw what looked to be another office with a large desk. Her sister was always focused on her work as a matron mother, ordering assassinations while managing the financial sabotage of other houses. Even in this area, Rizarra seemed to enjoy throwing herself into her work as the head of her household. Rae would rather keep killing than deal with paperwork.

"Good, it is not as damaged as I thought," Rizarra stated before pointing to the wall behind the desk. "Pull the right sconce on the wall there to reveal my bedchamber."

Rae fixated Lexiss with a firm glare as she tapped her pointed elven ear. "Rest assured that we will be able to hear everything and will be listening for any signal from Blaze of trouble. I may not have the demonic strength of my friend, but I can be just as cruel in killing you should you try anything. Remember that."

The drowess waited until the shadow mistress nodded that she understood before giving Blaze one worried glance. He simply smiled in assurance to her. Rae took a small breath before both dark elves stepped out in the hallway, closing the door behind them to give the two privacy.

********************
"I am sorry if my demand seems unreasonable," Lexiss spoke, albeit a bit shyly as they were alone together now. Blaze shrugged slightly while walking over to the sconce Rizarra had pointed out. Reaching up, his hand took hold of it and pulled back. The soft metallic click was all that could be heard before the wall shifted and opened with a light grinding noise. Glancing inside, Blaze saw candles flare to life, likely from magical enchantments in place. He turned back to Lexiss and smiled reassuringly.

"Think nothing of it. I am a man of my word," he said, extending his arm out to invite her inside. This gesture seemed to help put her apprehensiveness at ease. Stepping inside, Blaze watched the door close behind them. "You said you've only known darkness and pain after you made your request. What has happened to you, Lexiss?"

She moved over to the bed and leaned against the ornate bedpost. Lexiss was not shocked that he had figured out there was more to her words. Her arms hugged herself as she looked down in shame, reliving the memories of all that she had gone through in the name of her goddess.

"In order to win over the alliance of the dark races for her army, we were instructed to do anything possible to assure the success of our missions. As you can imagine, some of these creatures looked upon us with desire and made demands that we cooperate with them to the fullest," she said.

"You don't mean they..." Blaze said, unable to finish as he was horrified by what the goddess was putting her own people through.

"Yes," Lexiss said, her arms tightening further about herself as she shivered in disgust. "In particular, I was made to recruit the giants and orcs. Thankfully, the giants were merely satisfied with watching me masturbate and covering me in their cum. But the orcs... The orcs had their way with my body in their encampment. First their leader before the rest of the encampment. There must have been hundreds if not over a thousand. I lost track of time as I sucked them off, felt them flood my pussy and ass with their disgusting cum. Others delighted spraying their cum all over me. When I became too coated in their slimy filth, they showered me with piss to rinse it off. They even made me drink it at times. I became their personal cum bucket and toilet for days. My mind was close to breaking in a sea of filthy orc bodies using me."

"Gods," Blaze whispered, covering his mouth in shock as he felt sick to his stomach. While each of his comrades was an exotic beauty in their own right, Lexiss was in no doubt just as beautiful. The vile hordes must have run wild with lust over such a beauty at their beck and call. The thought of what she had been through happening to the others terrified him.

"That is why your tenderness reached my heart, Blaze," she said looking up to him with a sad smile. "It had been closed off after my experiences. But your desire to see me enjoy the pleasure as much as you were was something I never experienced before." Her arms dropped down as she moved away from the bed, walking toward him with her hips swaying as she smiled up him.

"I want to experience that feeling once again, if only for one last time," Lexiss whispered, tracing her finger along his jaw before cupping his cheek as her other hands gripped his shirt tightly. She pulled him down to kiss him deeply with her lush lips.

Blaze was surprised to see the turnaround in her attitude change from timid to seductive. Her passionate kiss proved her desperate desire to attain that height of bliss once again. He could not help but respond, losing himself in her scent and warmth as he kissed her back. She shivered against his body before pulling back from their kiss.

"My body is yours, Blaze. Explore to your heart's content," she whispered, trailing her lips along his jaw line and across his neck.

He could not suppress the shiver of pleasure running up his spine from the feel of her lips. His body reacted as he stiffened to a full raging erection. Taking her up on her invitation, his hand rose to the large curve of her breast and squeezed it through her dress. She moaned in approval as his other hand took up her other large mound, massaging her impressive tits. The shadow mistress became visibly more excited as her cheeks flushed and breathing quickened.

"Mmmmm... Yes! That is what I desire, but I need more," she whispered, breaking free from his hands as she turned around. She pulled her black hair away as she looked over her shoulder to him, hunger in her purple eyes. "I need to feel your touch directly. Please help me remove this dress."

The young man stared in awe for a moment as her pose was sexually exciting to where he thought he would burst through his pants. He moved up behind her, his lips capturing the arch of her slender neck, kissing her soft gray skin. She gasped and moaned, leaning back into him as his fingers quickly worked the tight laces on her back. The long black dress became loose, slowly sliding away from her lean body. Full, round gray globes bounced slightly in their freedom with darker gray nipples pert in her arousal.

"You are certainly a beautiful woman, Lexiss," Blaze said, unable to resist admiring her body that filled him with lust. She turned about to face him, smiling gratefully at his compliment. It was nice to receive such genuine words instead of the foul catcalls of brutes. Lexiss was glad she chose to ask him to do this.

"Thank you," she hummed softly, bare hips swaying slightly. "Koas did liken me in her image after all. But for those kind words, I feel I should reward you." And in doing so reward myself, she finished in thought. She bit her lower lip in eagerness as her hands sought him out, pulling her shirt off over his head. Her hands tossed it aside quickly to return to his chest, caressing those taut muscles with a pleased groan. The burning in her pussy and heart was increasing with every moment. She knelt before him, making quick work of his leggings and pulling them down.

"Gods," Blaze gasped as he felt her soft hands caressing his erect cock. She gazed up at him with a hypnotizing gaze as she leaned forward, those full dark lips wrapping about the head of his cock. The young warrior closed his eyes, enjoying the warm wet sensation of her mouth as she suckled on it gently.

"Mmmm, you taste as wonderful as I remember," she hummed after taking her mouth from him, ducking her head to the side to run her tongue from the base to flared head with long lavishing strokes. Lexiss pulled back up to prob his slit gently with her tongue, gathering up his precum to swallow with excited moans before drawing him fully back into her welcoming mouth. Her gaze continued to remain on his face, enjoying his expressions change with the pleasure she was giving him. She was no succubus, but she would show him she was skilled in the sexual arts nonetheless.

"Holy..." Blaze's eyes shot open as he felt his hard length push deeper, the cockhead finding its way down her throat as she handled every inch of him expertly. One of her hands grasped his sack, fondling it with her fingers as her head bobbed back and forth on him with gusto that filled the room with wet slurping sounds of her suction.

Lexiss locked her purple eyes with his as she felt his balls tensing in her hands. He was close. This man's cum was going to fill her mouth very soon. The thought alone drove her to increase the speed and suction of the blowjob, her own excitement for the impending climax seeping down her inner thighs.

"Lexiss... Yes! Lexiss, I'm cumming!" Blaze cried out, his hands finding her hair long black hair and tangling in it with a strong grasp. Lexiss gave him a look that said she wouldn't pull away for the entire world. She sucked as fiercely as she could, head rapidly moving to draw out her desire. On the backstroke of it coming out of her throat, it lurched inside her mouth as his seed blasted forth. The jizz coated the back of her throat and pooled on her tongue. Oh by the Abyss, his cum was like ambrosia! Her eyes rolled up in ecstasy, her pussy sending out a squirting jet of her own fluids as she climaxed.

Blaze wavered where he was, struggling to stand on weak knees as both of their bodies shivered from their shared ecstasy. The shadow mistress pulled back to let his cock escape with a wet pop. She closed her eyes as she knealt there, savoring his taste before swallowing his spunk in a few satisfying gulps.

"That was amazing..." He managed, not having expected her to give him a fellatio like a starving wanderer sat down to eat a feast at the table.

"Yes, but I am nowhere near satisfied with just that," Lexiss spoke as she rose, firmly grasping his hand to lead the wobbly legged man over to the bed. She knew they only had a limited time and wanted every moment to be filled with him. She turned about and sat down on the edge of the soft bed. Leaning back, she pushed herself further onto it. One leg spread to the side as the opposite leg's knee rose upward. The gray skinned vixen revealed to him her bare, damp folds. "Come, Blaze. Explore, touch, lick, kiss... Whatever you desire..."

The erotic sight alone nearly made him cum again as the exotic beauty laid herself out before him in open invitation to her luscious body. How could he say no? He moved over her as he got onto the bed, his hands cupping and feeling her large tits like before as he licked her neck teasingly. Soft, short gasps slipped from her lips as he lowered himself to kiss and suckle her breasts all over. The shadow mistress moaned softly when she felt his tongue swirl about the hard nipple before sucking it into his mouth. An encouraging cry filled the air as his teeth grazed the sensitive bud with a nibble.

Lexiss writhed on the bed as he explored her body with tender loving care. Her body was on fire with what he was doing, unable to experience this foreplay in their brief first encounter. It was no wonder those women held onto him with such fierceness. He knew how to make a woman feel like her pleasure was the only thing that mattered to him. Lexiss's breath caught and her nipple throbbed under his tongue when she felt his fingers explore further, hand sliding down her toned stomach to trace along her thighs.

Blaze heard her moans deepen, body continuing to writhe under his touch. Those touches left her thighs to the goal of both lovers, sliding across her wet petals before exploring those folds further.

"Oh yes!" Lexiss moaned in pleasure. The shadow mistress pushed her hips forward eagerly as those fingers rubbed her budding clit back and forth. Blaze bit gently on her other nipple, suckling as he pulled on it to draw her tit up slightly. Dropping his hand further, her wet slit was soon probed with two digits delving deep into the hot wet pussy. Her body felt like it was being burned to ashes from the fire of her ecstasy he giving her. Those fingers curled upward to caress the inner walls over her steamy cunt. "Oh goddess yes! Like that! Please!"

Blaze released her breast from his mouth in order to lead a trail of kisses down her stomach. The air was filled with her passionate moans as well as the soft wet sounds of his fingers pumping in and out of her wet twat with the increasing speed and strength. Before long, a third finger joined its compatriots into her tight cunt. Lexiss felt her clit throb with the additional penetration, her hips tensed and raised to his fingers as she gripped the fine blankets tightly. "Keep going! Don't ever stop!" She cried out.

He moved further down with his trailing kisses while his fingers swiftly moved in and out of her sopping wet pussy. Blaze's vision noticed her clit budding out with her heightened state. Surrounding it with his mouth, he suckled on it at while his tongue flicked across it at the same time. The wet squelches reverberated about the room as he finger banged her pussy hard and fast while doing this.

"BLAAAAAZE!!! OH YEEEESSSS!!!!" Lexiss all but screamed, stomach tense with her hips thrust fully into his fingers. The shadow mistress's whole body shook with the crushing impact of her orgasm. Her sweet juices flooded out of her as her head thrashed about as she cried in joy of another fantastic release.

Blaze held onto the gray vixen as her body arched and convulsed several times, his fingers and hands drenched from her climax. When her pussy walls unclenched and released his fingers, he leaned back and licked them clean. While she didn't taste as incredible as Kendra, he had to admit the essence of Lexiss was enjoyable too.

The shadow mistress lay there breathing heavily as she slowly recovered with shuddering breaths. She sensed him rise and move over her. Opening her eyes, she looked up to see him gazing down at her with a concerned look. Did she look that much a mess? She blushed deeply before managing a smile. Lexiss reached up, fingers running through his short hair as she pulled him down into a reassuring kiss. Their tongues caressed and danced about wildly. She did not mind the taste of herself as their lips lovingly embraced each the other's. As much as she wished she could continue being lost in his kisses, she broke it by pulling back.

"I fear our time is likely growing short. Shall we continue then?" Lexiss whispered to him, her hands reaching down to graze over his hips. The man above her simply nodded with agreement. She brought him down for another tender kiss before her hands gently lined that flared head against her soaked folds.

Blaze groaned into her lips as he felt the initial resistance before his cock slid into her hot depths, feeling her tight wet walls squeezing about him in welcome. He thrust forward to drive it more deeply, eliciting a cry from her. He focused on trying to hold out as long as he could so that she would be satisfied with this experience. He wanted it to be a memorable occasion she could look back on with fondness. It would not do to cum too quickly. Her tightness made it a tough battle nonetheless.

The shadow mistress moaned, nails lightly scratching over his sides as she spread her hips open further to give him better access to drive deeper. Tears leaked from the edges of her eyes. It was beyond words feeling him inside her finally after all this time. When his hips finally met hers, the feeling of the full penetration of him inside her set the firestorm raging forth. Goddess, she wanted to... No! She needed to fuck her brains out on this man's incredible length until she was a drooling mess of a cock drunk slut.

"What the..." Blaze said in surprise with powerful hands seized him, her hips pushing up as she rolled him aside onto his back. She groaned huskily as she straddled his hips, still impaled on that pole. She leaned forward and nuzzled his neck, kissing and nipping at it passionately.

"I need it, Blaze. I love the tenderness, but right now I need it more like the last time. The intensity of it," Lexiss crooned, writhing over him with wriggling hips about his cock. Her slender hips rose and fell over his, riding him slowly at first but quickening with each passing moment. Blaze felt her lips leave him as she leaned back, riding his cock fluidly. Her long black hair swayed along her back as her breasts bounced with each movement on her chest. She took his wrists in iron grips, positioning one on her hip and the other on full breast. "Touch me more, Blaze," She moaned encouragingly.

He could not help but blink in awe as the sensual being above him was overcome with her lust. The feeling of her hot tunnel coiling about him as she rode him was incredible. It was becoming more difficult to resist flooding her with cum. His hands squeezed her tit, making her give a lusty gasp. Her skilled hips rolled and rocked over his, the sultry sound of their wet copulation formed loud slaps from hips meeting.

Both lovers were soon awash in their pleasures as the sex became more intense. Before long they became lost to instinct. Blaze was thrusting up to meet her downward motions, bouncing her curvaceous body up and down upon his meaty sword. Her large gray tits vigorously jiggled about as they both groaned in nearing that cliff's edge.

"Lexiss... I'm going to come soon!" Blaze growled through grit teeth. It was just too much pleasure to resist any longer for him.

"Yes, Blaze! Hold my hips and fill me!" Lexiss cried out as she rode him blissfully. "I am so close. Goddess yes! YES!" She felt his powerful hands seize control of her hips on both sides. The human used his strength to thrust is cock up into the shadow demon's tight pussy with hard fast strokes. Gray skin shone with the wet sheen of her sweat as she rode him with equal ferocity. Her moans quickly became sharp screams of need that pierced the air with each thrust.

"YES! YES! YESSS! FUCK ME! FUCK ME BLAZE! I'M CUMMING! I'M CUMMING! I'M CUUUUMMMIIINGGG!!! YEEEEEEESSSS!!!" Lexiss shrieked as her hips jerked forward and slammed her vivacious form over his, embedding him fully inside her as she convulsed wildly.

Blaze gasped as he held onto her tightly, feeling her juices squirt out of her cunt in a torrent that soaked his hips. Her squeezing walls were too much! His cock gave her what she desired. Thick ropes of cum erupted inside her to reach her innermost depths. Lexiss sat there, mouth hanging open and eyes rolled back so only the whites showed. Her body was hot to the touch as several more orgasms rippled through her body. Such an incredible look from this beauty of being struck mute with pleasure kept his arousal rock hard within her, despite having cum twice. The woman wanted the intensity of their first union. He would make sure she got what she desired.

"Blaze? What are yo-OOOOOH!" Lexiss moaned in surprise, barely having come out of her orgasmic stupor when she felt him fold his legs and raise them both until he stood upon the bed. Her arms instinctively wrapped about his neck as her long legs locked behind his waist to support herself. Their position caused her to slide down his erection at a different, yet wonderful angle. She hissed with the sparks flying through her sensitive, post-orgasmic cunt. With a grunt, the human in her arms seemed to gather himself in focus before he gave a powerful thrust up into the suspended woman.

"OH!" Lexiss said with mouth open in the very shape of that word, purple eyes wide open. The long cock slid back out as he reared back before slamming upward into her again. She nearly became limp in his arms as she saw stars explode into her vision with every thrust. "OH! MY! GODS!"

Blaze was breathing hard and almost growling in his focus, using his body's strength and endurance to pound away at her cunt. Lexiss found herself leaning backward as she was thrown up and down on the large meaty rod impaling her beautifully. Helpless to the onslaught of physical strength and pleasure tearing through her, she frantically reached above and behind her. Her hands found the bedpost behind her lurching body and grabbed it firmly.

Both bodies were dripping with sweat of the exertion of their rough mating. Lexiss held on for dear life to the bedpost behind her as her breasts bounced about with her lush body suspended above the bed. Blaze held her hips firmly and fucked her with the hard strokes she could not get enough of. Her grip nearly slipped as her eyes rolled up again, feeling the oncoming rush once more but with greater ferocity than the last time. She both dreaded and eagerly waited for what would surely be her greatest orgasm ever.

"Lexiss! I am close again already," he grunted.

"Yes!" came her sobbing cry in response, so fucked completely in her ecstatic state. "Again then! Fill me again!"

He couldn't hold back much longer if he wanted to. Her cunt walls were milking him for all that he had left in him. Hands lifting her hips up further into her arms, the human gave a loud long roar as he began to lay into her frothing pussy as his spunk poured into her.
"FUCK! FUCK! YEEESSS! TEAR ME APART YOU SWEET BASTARD! DESTROY MY CUNT WITH THAT BEAUTIFUL COCK! YEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!" Lexiss shrieked at the top of her lungs, her juices spraying out of her in torrents as her mind was obliterated by pleasure she never thought possible.

Blaze slowed his thrusts as he became too exhausted to do anything more than stand there supporting her. He looked down to his body drenched with sweat and her cum. That had been more intense than he had expected it to be. He hoped it is what she had wished for. Looking up to Lexiss, he blinked in surprise.

"Lexiss?" He asked with growing concern.

The shadow mistress hung there with her hands in a frozen grip on the bedpost. Her eyes rolled up and her tongue hung out of her mouth. Her body shivered and quaked every now again from a series of mini-orgasm. She had passed out!? He looked on in shock with her cock drunk expression before he carefully helping ease her down to the bed.

"Lexiss, come on now," He spoke, gently patting her cheek in nervousness. He was afraid he had gone too far this time. After a few moments, her breathing steadied before she blinked her eyes a few times to regain her focus. He breathed a sigh of relief. "Are you alright?"

Lexiss could only look to him in wonder for a moment as she slowly nodded. It had been more than she ever hoped to experience. The former servant of Koas nearly wanted to cry that she would never get to experience such with him again. But it was just punishment after what she had done to him. She leaned up to kiss him briefly before wrapping her arms about him in loving embrace.

"Thank you, Blaze," she whispered tearfully into his ear. "Thank you..."

********************

Rae glanced up when the door opened. Her red eyes focused as both Lexiss and Blaze exited the bedroom. Her elven ears had heard everything. The shadow mistress had gotten her wish granted to the fullest of her desires. As much as she did not care for the demand, the passionate screams leaving that room had left her wet between her legs. Seeing her sister squirm slightly across from her told her that Rizarra felt it too. They had both shared in that ecstasy not all the long ago. However, she hoped this would be the last time Lexiss made such a request. She doubted the succubus would tolerate anything more. Still, she was thankful that Lexiss had not done anything treacherous to her lover while inside that room.

"Took you both long enough to clean up," she chided them with a sigh. Blaze scratched the back of his head with an embarrassed chuckle while Lexiss turned her head with a deep blush. Rae stepped up to touch Blaze, sending healing magic in his body specifically aimed to replenish his strength and stamina. He had had sex with three women in one day after all. "If you had taken any longer with her, I might have rushed in to tackle you for myself, Patron."

"Now that is done," Rizarra said, pushing herself from the wall, "We should get moving quickly to the next task at hand. I will guide you through the underworld to the domain of the Mistress of Chaos. We only need to fetch Kendra but she hasn't returned yet. I am concerned about her well-being. She went alone to face hundreds of demons after all."

A flash of dark movement startled them along with the wet thud of something hitting the wall before falling to the ground. The source of the noise rolled slightly towards them into the light. All of them recoiled at the head of what appeared to be a female with green skin and dark green hair. What remained of her face was a look of sheer horror that disquieted even the drow present. Kendra stepped around the corner, her naked body covered head to toe in blood.

"Kendra..." Blaze started, hesitating before reaching out to her, "Are you okay?"

The demoness looked to them nonchalantly, as if wondering at their amazed expressions. "What? Never been better. Is that a bedroom in there? I trust there is a bath?" She said pointing to where Blaze and Lexiss had come out from. Rizarra could only nod numbly as she walked past all of them with a grin. "Fine then. Give me a few moments to clean up and I will be ready. Please leave my clothes inside."

Blaze stared in wonder as Kendra walked in without another word. He had always known she was a woman who he did not want to anger. But the coldness that emanated from her reminded him that she was still a demon. As Rae passed him to follow her friend inside with her clothing, he felt Lexiss trembling behind him. He could hear the drow conversing with the demoness inside. The shock wore off after a number of minutes and he looked behind him to Lexiss. She was still shaking uncontrollably, unsettled greatly by the grisly sight. It would not be a far reaching guess that she knew it could have been her head lying there upon the floor. He put a hand on her shoulder comfortingly.

"Don't worry, Lexiss. She may not like you, but I can tell she has no hostile intentions toward you," he said reassuringly.

"Blaze is right," Rae said as she stepped back outside, closing the door behind her. "I can tell my friend worked it out of her system. Strange... I almost pity those poor demons for what they must have faced. That is until she told me just now that they all had raped her before we arrived." Blaze stiffened at this revelation as Rae looked apologetically to him. "I am sorry but I felt you should know, despite her keeping this from you in her own way of trying to protect you. The world can be a cruel place, but even more cruel in the world of demons."

He couldn't help but look past the door where Kendra was cleaning their filth from her. A part of him was filled with self-loathing for not having arrived sooner to save her. Yet he knew this had been Kendra's score to settle. Already he could hear her telling him not to worry about it any further. His mind now focused on Koas. The goddess had gone too far in starting this war. She went even further to set horrible demons upon the woman he loved in order to break him. This madness was going to stop.

Looking to Rae, they both shared a knowing look along the same thoughts. After a short while of waiting, the door opened. Kendra stepped outside as she finished tying the laces of her leather vest. Taking the towel hanging about her neck to ruffle the moisture out of blonde hair one last time, Kendra gave them that familiar bright smile.

"Ready. Let's go give hell to the goddess since she likes chaos so much," she said cheerfully, the corner of her mouth turned upward into a smirk. They all agreed whole-heartedly as Rizarra turned to lead them out of the building. Rae poked and teased Kendra mercilessly along the way in an unusual display of affection for her friend. Clearly the drowess was just as relieved to have Kendra back.

"I always thought you succubi loved to swallow cum, not spew it out," Rae laughed as they descended from the buildings entrance. Kendra nearly stumbled on a step before blushing as she smacked the arm the amused dark elf lightly.

"Hush, Rae! I shared that only with you in confidence," she whispered with a nervous glance back towards Blaze, whom was talking with Lexiss. "It's not like I had a choice. The damn bitch was in my ass and ejaculating an absurd amount."

"Still sounds kind of kinky. All that cum to go all the way through your body," Rae chuckled before her red eyes widened with an idea. "Perhaps I should research to see if there is a spell that could make our dear Blaze cum that much for us?"

"Rae!" Kendra looked to her with shock before shaking her head. "Don't be silly!"

Rae hummed softly to herself in amusement as she observed Kendra acting in disapproval, but give a sideways glance in thoughtful consideration of the idea. The drowess looked forward to the day they could all be together again without worry where such amusement between friends would be commonplace.

"Lexiss! I finally found you," came a shout to startle them all out of their reverie and conversations.

The shadow mistress gave a shocked gasp as they all looked to the source of the voice down the empty street. Standing there calmly with an arrogant expression was a woman with short blue hair and intense orange eyes. A Shoushan woman in ninja garb.

"Nariko! What are you doing here?" Lexiss managed to say, despite the fear nearly freezing her in place at being found out by one of her former cohorts. Blaze stepped in front of the shadow mistress protectively as his lightened mood darkened immediately. While he had not seen her face in his pursuit of her after poisoning Tyra, he had heard enough from Rae's description to know whom they faced.

"What am I doing here? To retrieve you, of course," the ninja sneered at her. "Our goddess was suspicious of your delayed return. She sent me to see if Ulthar was up some treachery... or if you were."

"But why would the goddess even suspect me of such a thing," Lexiss responded, panic starting to fill her with an impulse to starting running as fast as she could.

"You really think Koas didn't recognize the change in you after your first encounter with that man? Even the rest of us could tell you were somehow different. Yet our goddess chose to continue believing in you, considering you were born from her very essence. It is amazing that you could betray Koas, who is technically your mother. I can't wait to tell her!" Nariko laughed, those orange eyes glaring at Lexiss with hatred. "Do not think I have forgiven you taking me from my sister's protection. Because of you and that pointy-eared rat, I was forced into the humiliation of being gang-banged by a whole village of centaurs! When I tell Koas of your actions, she will no doubt send as many of her servants to wipe you out. You will be hunted to the ends of the world and never given a moments rest."

"Vith! You always seem to like running your mouth. It is well enough to hear the goddess shut you up with a mouthful of centaur cock," Rae said with a laugh, smirking as the ninja stiffened in indignation at her words.

"Silence, rat!" the ninja said hatefully as she spat on the ground in disgust. Rizarra hissed angrily at her sister being disrespected but was stopped from lunging forward to kill the woman by Rae's restraining arm. She looked to give her sister a tongue-lashing for stopping her. She was every bit as capable as her sibling. Rae's wide-eyed, fearful look stopped her from doing so.

"Dalninil?" Rizarra uttered, confounded by Rae's expression.

"Leave her to me. You all must leave, quickly!" Rae said with urgency, looking behind her with the others with the same panicked expression. The others looked to her with the same confusion. What had suddenly overcome the drowess?

"Don't be ridiculous," Kendra answered her firmly. "We are your friends. We are not leaving each other now that we are back together. We can easily take her down together."

Rae shook her head insistently. She had felt the throbbing vibration in her ring sabers about the same moment Nariko had insulted her. It was coming. She could feel the air beginning to chill already. There was no stopping what was about to occur. They had to flee! They had to get away from her!

"I can handle this. Please... Please don't make me beg. I can't explain but I don't want you to see what will happen. That is the most I can say!" Rae said, her voice rising with the growing sense of urgency.

Blaze looked on with wonder at this sudden change in Rae that none of them had seen in her before as Kendra and Rizarra began arguing with her. The tears forming at the corner of the drowess's eyes confirmed his thoughts. Rae was desperate. He had never seen her like this. She must want them gone for a very good reason. Many people had their secrets, even from friends. After all, Kendra had hidden her true identity from them out of fear all this time. He knew he couldn't understand what would drive this, but he knew he had to respect Rae's wishes if he truly cared for her.

"Come. We are leaving this to her. I trust Rae can handle Nariko," He said as before looking to Rizarra, retreating down the street away from the ninja. "Lead us out of here."

"What?" shouted a furious ninja as he turned to leave, "I heard that you bastard!"

Meanwhile, Rizarra looked about as ready to argue with him as Kendra was, but both of them saw the determined look in his eyes. Nodding, Rizarra turned and began to run down the street to catch up to him. Kendra looked pained with worry as she gave one last look to her friend before following them out of the ruined city. Rae watched them go, thankful that they had listened to her. She would never forgive herself they had stayed as she likely would have killed them too.

"It doesn't matter, rodent," Nariko sneered as she observed them leave. She shrugged her shoulders in mock exasperation as if dealing with children. "Once I dispatch you, I will find them. They'll be dead as you, all the same." Nariko's smirk slowly faded as she watched the shoulders of the drow tremble before her laughter became audible. What was this vile elf so amused about? She must know she couldn't beat a ninja of her skill in one on one combat.

"No. Your fate is as good as sealed because he has come for you," the drowess laughed as she looked over her shoulder back to the ninja. Nariko was about to tear apart this false bravado when she stopped, her eyes looking down to see her breath becoming visible. Her body shivered as she felt the air becoming much colder than it had been a moment before.

"What damn trickery are you up to?" She demanded as she looked back to the drowess to see a low mist crawling across the ground and spreading out from where the elf stood. Nariko cautiously stepped back as she pulled out a kunai. Was this some kind of illusionary magic? Or was it some kind of preparation for a magic attack? Her eyes spotted a dark mass begin to form within the mist before starting to grow. The smirk on Rae's face became wicked as the dark mass began to take shape. It rose out of the mist spread further to the rest of the city streets.

As the shape coalesced, gnawing suspicion gradually became growing recognition. Nariko swallowed deeply as she tried to contain her fear. She must be mistaken! "N-no.. This isn't possible!" Nariko stammered. Staggering backwards, urine splashing forth as the ninja soiled herself. The terror had taken hold of her. "How? Not with a worthless rat like you! How could you even be worthy?"

Rae turned around to fully face the terrified Shoushan woman as the towering cowled figure stood next to her, ultimately confirming her fears as it brought out a large blood stained scythe. She understood why the drowess said her fate was sealed because of who came for her.

Death...

********************

The air was very still, providing little relief to those trying to rest during the near-moonless summer night. The small silvery crescent gave very little light as it made its trek across the sky. The human village called Liosis was large enough in size to where some would begin calling it a city. It had grown prosperous due to the discovery of rare metals and gems in the nearby mountains. This had increased trade with races that coveted such materials and wealth, like the dwarves. As such, people flocked to the human city on the outskirts of most kingdoms. They sought vast wealth free of taxation that the kingdoms imposed. What they found instead was not what they expected. They discovered quickly Liosis was ramp with corruption where only a few prospered while the rest wallowed in decrepit conditions of poverty.

There was a small click to the window of one of these prestigious manors of the rich. The simple latch was gently lifted out of the way with the narrow point of the blade. Slowly, but quietly the window was opened until there was enough room for the dark figure to slip inside. Cautiously it crouched under the windowsill, attentive with listening for any sound of alarm or presence as those malevolently glowing red eyes glanced about.

Rae thought this night was going well so far as she had not been discovered yet. She prided herself in being able to make many kills without being discovered. The drowess was often long gone before the body was found. It was secret game she amused herself with. A few times she was discovered by a person before she would kill them swiftly to keep her presence unknown. Tonight was a success in the initial infiltration as she had traversed many rooftops naked, her pitch black skin allowing her to blend in with the night's darkness.

Her eyes glanced about the beautiful ornate furniture around the room. Lavish rugs and priceless paintings further emphasized the hedonistic lifestyle of the owner. There was the occasional clink of sword and armor on the first floor below from the guards. The owner of this residence was, in fact, the governor of Liosis. She had gathered enough details from her employers that this man was the most corrupt soul this city had to offer. This governor's corruption ranged from buying votes to keep his position while also violently suppressing or removing his opposition behind the scenes.

The fool! Rae's lips curled upward into a wicked smirk. This governor was not smart enough to keep a balance of how much was too far before the people would act. Powerless before his hired mercenaries and guards, the people of this town secretly pooled what little money they had left to hire as assassin. The money was a pittance and well short of what her services were worth, but she was bored out of her mind. She more than happily took the job to rid the world of this little worm. These people should be grateful that one of the best assassins in the realm was being so generous.

Rae stiffened as she heard something within the room. How was it possible that she missed a presence inside this room? She had patiently waited with keen ears to make sure this entry point was clear. Dark pointed ears now checked once more as she remained frozen, a spider ready to spring into action should it be a surprise attack waiting. The drowess heard it again, a sound that was even faint for her hearing to pick up. A whimper.

Pulling her curved dagger out of the single cord wrapped about her bare waist, Rae crawled forward with caution. As she reached a lavish chair, she peered around to see a crumpled form trembling on the rug. Glancing about to see if this was some trap, the dark assassin slowly moved her way forward to the whimpering form. There were no signs of any other presence within the room. She roughly poked the form with the tip of her dagger, surprised when a small chirp of pain erupted from the form. Rae saw the terrified eyes of a girl turn toward her. From what she observed, it was a human girl that had hardly been in the world more than a decade. One of the locals, the drowess surmised.

"Are... are you an angel come for me, miss?" the terrified girl choked out in fear, her whole body trembling.

Rae nearly snorted in derision at such a ridiculous notion. What stopped her was what she saw more clearly in the dark. Even though the girl wore a simple white dress, it could not hide the tears in the fabric or the blood stains splattered across its length. What would normally have been pale skin was covered in cuts and black bruises. The girl's face was heavily battered with one eye swollen shut and blood leaking from her broken nose. For the first time in her young life, the drowess found herself speechless. Memories came flooding back of her training as a drow warrior during her childhood. She'd received numerous beatings during those trials and even beat other children to prove her worth as drow. Eventually those beatings between drow children turned into death matches to see who would survive.

"N-no," The drow stammered as she finally found her voice, unsure why a human child would be in such horrid condition. Should she simply cut her throat to avoid any alarm being raised by the child? Oddly, the thought quickly disappeared from her mind whereas most drow would have followed through. "What is your name child?" Why? Why did she ask that question? It served no purpose! The girl sniffed as she trembled still, Rae knowing now it was coming from the intense pain her young battered body was in.
"Lily."

Rae's red eyes blinked as she heard this name. Simple, yet pretty like the humans favored in naming their offspring. Often times there was special meaning behind each name. She did not know of many, but had come across this name in one of her prior targets. It meant innocence. Rae's breath froze in her lungs as her mind raced through the various reports of happenings in Liosis that the governor was suspected of being tied to. One of those was the disappearances of many families, including those with children.

"Please be quiet, Lily," Rae hushed her reassuringly as her hand gently slid down the girl's dress. Red eyes carefully observed with her tilted head as the hem was softly raised and pulled back a bit. Her breath left her in a rush as she trembled. That filthy, vithing son of a bitch! She violently fought uprising in her stomach as her eyes, wild with rage, she glared towards the door that would lead to her target. She would skin him alive for this!

"The bad man had me and my mama taken from our home today. He hurt me so much," Lily cried, tears streaking her bruised face. Rae's whole body trembled as she tried to reign in her emotions. Why was it bothering her to this extent? Rae pressed her hands to the girl's body. Furthermore, where was this desire to help the girl suddenly coming from? Her magic flood forth, easing the girl's pain as far as her talent would allow. Closing her eyes, she focused on trying to heal her injuries. She gasped as she found the girl was far worse internally than she appeared on the outside. This was beyond her current abilities. She cursed herself mentally. Given a few more decades of experience, she could have handled this.

"Lily... I... I... can't save you," Rae spoke, finding herself surprised at the emotion breaking in her tone. She couldn't let such a life end like this. To the Abyss if she didn't understand why she felt all this turmoil within her. It was just how it was. She was always prideful in her successes and knowing how to accept failures. But she couldn't forgive herself in failing in this moment.

"What is your name, miss?" Lily asked, before a fit of coughing seized her. Rae dropped her dagger and reached out with her arms to pull Lily into her body comfortingly.

"Rae. Rae Nitara," she answered as she continued to flood her magic into Lily's body to ease the pain. "Easy now, little one."

The human girl looks up to her and sniffed, knowing what her fate was coming to in its finality. "Miss Rae... I'm scared..."

The assassin looked up to the ceiling, eyes wildly searching for something to say or do to comfort the girl in her final moments. Her kind was not known for such preposterous notions as giving such kindness to the dying. The dying were simply not good enough to survive in this world and only had themselves to blame in the end. Only the strong find the will to continue down the path of the living.

"Mama always said an angel would come for us when our time came," Lily whispered, shivering in more in fear at the moment than from her pain. "But.. I am scared of going on without my mama. I don't want to go on alone."

A lone memory sparked in Rae's mind as the girl mentioned her mother. It had been long forgotten, buried underneath to brutality of the physical and mental conditioning of serving Lloth. She had once been afraid of going on alone into the underworld without her mother. She was a weak, needy child. Weakness that would surely get her killed unless she found some kind of strength to push through what was merely days away.

There was no secret about the harshness that awaited her. The thought of being led out into the underworld and abandoned for survival training to make it back terrified her. Many drow children were killed or consumed by the horrors out there. She had hid in their manor for a long time until her mother found her. Rather than beat Rae for her stubbornness, her mother had taken her into her arms and surprised her with what she did.

Rae wasn't sure she would be any good at this, but closed her eyes as she hummed softly while her fingers caressed Lily's cheek. Slowly, softly her voice came out as she sang her mother's words as best she could from Drow to Common.

"Just let yours fears go,

You will find your way back home.

Let your fears go,

You will find you are not lost.

No, little child of mine,

You're not alone.

You're not alone.

For we're tied together forever.

Just let your fears go,

You will find your way through the dark.

Just let your fears go,

You will find your path leading to light.

And you will come back to me,

Where I will always be for you."

Her voice softly trailed off as she blinked her wet eyes, remembering the smell and softness of her mother's embrace as she was sung to. It was a surreal experience to witness her mother expressing such love for her. Rae looked down and was surprised to see Lily smiling, fresh tears leaking from her eyes. Lily closed her eyes and turned her head into Rae's chest.

"You're so warm," the girl whispered before she stilled, with that smile on her face. Rae's heart leapt into her throat as she felt the body go limp in her arms.

The drow gently placed the girl's body back on the floor before her arms wrapped about her stomach. The normally cold assassin hunched over, long silvery hair spilling over her shoulders as her mouth opened in a silent scream. Her body shuddered as her sobs wracked her entire body, tears falling down to splash upon the Lily's face.

Why? Why was this tearing her apart inside? The girl was simply not strong enough to survive! There was no warrant for sympathy, let alone grief. Only the strong survive. The weak perished as they deserved! Her mind screamed the mantra that had been drilled into her. This world was a cruel place where children died all the time. It was ridiculous that one death would affect her when she had killed so many people. Yet here she was, silently writhing in agonizing grief over a girl she had just met. Nothing she had said or done so far made any sense. Was she a failure as a drow then? Why did she care when all others would not?

"Because you are different than them, Rae Nitara."

Rae froze as the words were spoken. She had left herself completely exposed. Her hand swiftly found her dagger on the floor and spun about the face the source of the voice. The blade nearly dropped from her hand as she saw the other presence in the room. Fear nearly caused her to scream out loud.

Standing in the light of the window was a tall figure covered by a large black cloak. The hood was pulled up to where only the glow of yellow eyes could be seen. The very air seemed to chill so that she could see the minimal breath that escaped from her as she observed the black wings protruding from the figure's back. What gave this dark figure's identity away was the unmistakable skeletal hand holding the large, blood stained scythe.

"Death," she whispered, her body trembling. The presence of Death could only mean one thing. Her hand tightened on her dagger. She leapt over Lily's body protectively, dagger risen to the specter and hissing viciously. Rae gasped as she had meant to defend herself by leaping away.

"Case in point," came the hollow, cold voice as Death tilted his head. "It is futile though. I have already taken her spirit away." The shift in cowl slightly revealed the skeletal facial features. It was disconcerting hearing the voice in her mind but it still sounded like he had spoken aloud. Her heart sank as she knew his words to be true. Her actions had been foolish.

"Then you are here for me?" she asked, body tensed as she would not go down without a fight. Yet it seemed insane to think she could hope to win against Death. His head shook slightly as Rae backed away from him.

"No. It is not your time yet, dark elf," he looked down to the body of Lily before shifting his cold gaze back to Rae. The drowess felt her blood run cold from those undead eyes. "You Nitaras are a rare breed of drow. To observe a drow showing compassion and kindness is an unusual sight."

Rae stiffened and hissed at him. "I did no such thing! I am not weak like surface dwellers!"

"Try to deny it as much as you wish to," he stated coldly. His eyes looked to her as if piercing her very soul and laying it open to read like a book. She shifted uncomfortably and averted her eyes slightly. "But I witnessed tonight what I have seen in your soul many times, even during your assassinations. There is good in you, despite being a child of Lloth." Rae stiffened and nearly hurled the dagger into his form, but knew it would do nothing.

"I do not have any 'good' inside me, specter. I enjoy the thrill of the kill. I dispatch my victims without mercy. I am a drow through and through!" she hissed, trying to keep her voice from rising too much in her growing anger.

"Yet you are very selective in your missions, are you not?" Death replied. Upon seeing the drowess flinch at his words. As he pushed her closer toward the truth of his words, he moved forward slowly to stand over the small form of Lily before pointing down to the body. "I have yet to witness such cruelty from you. That is because you only accept missions to kill those whom you deem deserving of their life being snuffed out. Often times, if they cannot afford your services, you will perform the job for little or no pay. A charitable venture uncommon for an assassin."

"Enough! Not another word..." Rae shook her head as she backed further away from Death, the specter was tearing down the walls within her that she had built up over the years. She was a drow! A ruthless murderer!

"Murderer?" Death's shifted slightly in what seemed almost like an amused posture. "Your hands are drenched in blood true enough. Dripping heavily in the lives you have taken, but not one drop of innocent blood stains your soul."

Trembling, Rae leaned wearily back against the wall as she was cornered by his words. They were true. Trying to deny it under the façade of a heartless drow assassin; she could not bring herself to assassinate those she felt did not deserve death. Only those she researched in depth to discover lavishing in the suffering of others with their depravity and greed were the ones she accepted contracts for.

"Is this what you are here for then? To mock me for being a lie? A living mockery to my people and goddess?" She spat in tearful vehemence.

"No. I simply wish to assist you," Death answered simply.

"Vel'bol?" Rae responded in shock. "Is this more mockery? What do you mean by this?" Death quietly moved over the windows, almost gliding in a way that gave her the chills once more. Glancing outside as if seeing the whole world for what it was in that moment, the shoulders of the specter seemed to lower slightly in fatigue.

"I am a being that has existed since the beginning when life first began. I have always been a shepherd of souls to the afterlife they deserve. Yet millennia after millennia passes and I continue to see the same suffering of many innocent people before I come for their souls. All the while corrupt souls live on without consequence. Over time, you could say that I have become sympathetic to their plight despite my nature to remain impartial. Like you, I could no longer deny the feelings these experiences have impressed on me. What you observed tonight, I have seen over a thousand fold," Death whispered. His scythe rattled slightly, causing Rae to observe the dark figure's skeletal hand shake momentarily. Was he angry?

"Why not end the lives of these scumbags yourself then?" Rae asked as the implications of his words began to sink in.

"Because I cannot. When a life has reached its fated endpoint, I merely come to shepherd the soul to its proper eternal resting place. Be it paradise or inferno, I simply guide them there. I am unable to take personal action myself," the hooded spirit stated simply before turning to point one, long bony finger at her, "Which is where you come in... Nitara..."

Rae couldn't suppress the cold shiver than ran down her spine in that moment. What could he want with her? How could she possibly be of any use to an immortal being like Death?

"I am not here to use you, but aide your endeavors," Death said chillingly as he glided over to her. His one hand motioned her to rise reassuringly. She only did so begrudgingly. "The gift I will give you will earn you renowned fame as an assassin more so than you already enjoy. All I ask in return is you use this gift when sensing I draw near, indicating your target is one whose time has come. To meet a fate befitting one so twisted in life."

Rae swallowed slightly as she thought this offer over. Death did not give her a consequence should she refuse. It was an honest request as she had ever been given. Her anger still simmered beneath the surface as she hungered for the blood of her target tonight more than ever. Would this gift truly make the filthy human suffer for what he did to Lily? She remembered the girl's words that both she and her mother had been taken. It would be a deviation from her initial route to her kill, but a worthy one.

"Very well, then" she responded with measured words, "On the condition that I first get the girl's mother out of this rathole."

"That is not possible," Death spoke calmly as he shook his head, "The guards raped and killed her mother hours ago."

Rae stood there silently in shock from those words before her fists clenched. Her teeth bit into her lower lip as she threw her head back and stifled her furious scream as best could. Panting in her fury as the blood leaked down her chin from her lips, she fixed the skeletal face with red eyes glowing brightly. Death stood there quietly to allow the trembling drow time to recover and speak.

"You have a deal only so long as your gift allows me the fond memory of hearing their screams," she hissed.

"Indeed it shall," Death said as he moved towards her, "Now that our pact is made, Rae Nitara..."

Rae no longer shuddered in fear as the embodiment of life's end approached. She only smirked darkly at the wonderful thoughts of how she was going to kill every corrupt soul in this house in the cruelest fashion possible.

That night would become legend in Liosis to be told in hushed tones over the gloom of hearth fires or mugs of ale. A night where the townspeople heard the ungodly screams of what must have been the underworld coming from the governor's house. Too terrified to see what was going on, they only checked the following day. Those brave enough to enter came outside retching and vomiting, telling of blood soaked walls and viscera everywhere. When asked of the governor, every soul blanched and shook their head vehemently in fear the same fate would visit them in the night.

Even though none knew of the pact made, it was ironic and fitting that the culprit was given the name Death's Mistress as it was only known to be a woman who took the contract. The townspeople were surprised when this terrifying assassin had all their money for the job returned without a word as to why...

********************

"Nariko Miakoda," Death spoke with chilling finality, "It is time for your existence in this world to come to an end in a death only fitting one so corrupt."

Nariko stood there shivering in her fear as her mind continued trying to grasp how this was possible. She had devoted her whole life to being a ruthless ninja. She always envied her sister. Everything Nariko excelled at, Kalei only did better. She did not hate her sister for it, but why could she not catch up to Kalei? Nariko was furious at first when she learned that Koas had approached her older sibling first on becoming a servant. It surprised her when Kalei graciously declined and announced her intentions to start her own ninja clan. It was then that Koas had sensed Nariko's jealousy before the goddess turned to ask her. What had been a day of bitter disappointment quickly became one of profound joy.

Nariko proudly served, killing hundreds in the name of her goddess. Men, women, children... It didn't matter so long as she returned to a pleased Mistress of Chaos. And now she was witnessing the embodiment of the world she had chosen to live in standing at the side of the drow instead of her's. Why the damned drow? Why recognize HER?

'Why that filthy black rat!?" Nariko screamed in rage at the cloaked figure. "She doesn't deserve the honor!"

"Don't you ever shut up," Rae yelled back in annoyance with the ninja's tantrum. Her derision for this woman grew with every passing moment. "It is no honor, but heavy responsibility I willingly took on to remove filthy stains like you from this world. Come now and accept your fate with what little dignity you have left. Or do I already see all that remained tricking down your legs?" Nariko's eyes grew wide as her face went red with a mixture of intense shame and fury. Rae simply smirked as her as Death moved behind the drowess.

The ninja gasped as she watched the skeletal hands rest upon the dark elf's shoulders. Instead of falling lifeless to the ground as the legends tell, Rae's expression changed to pleasure before shivering while the figure behind her began to waiver. Rae wrapped her arms about herself as her shivering increased. As Death's figure faded, a visible change was occurring in the dark elf. What was happening to them? Like ink spilt across a fresh leaflet of white paper, Rae's silvery white hair was turning black. The obsidian black skin recognizable of all drow was now becoming white as the freshest fallen mountain snow. Death's figure had vanished before the dark elf cried out as the clothing on her back ripped, large black feathery wings bursting forth the fan out in their newfound freedom.

Rae's hunched body righted itself and arched her back as her body now shivered with what looked to be something else. Tilting her head slightly, the changed elf pulled some dark strands from her white face so that her glowing red eyes fell upon the stunned Shoushan ninja. Pale lips tugged upwards at one corner in a smirk only befitting a dark goddess. Hot pain suddenly burst through Nariko's chest before flooding her entire being. Her body lurched forward from the shock as she clutched her chest. Drawing her hands back in panic to confirm what she feared, her orange eyes saw nothing. No blood soaked her hand nor did she feel its warm wetness flooding from her body. How was that possible? She had certainly felt the searing pain of being run through with a blade. Looking back to Rae, Nariko could see the hunger in those red eyes. How was it possible? That sensation had been from the drow's bloodlust alone?

"Oh goddess, you can't be her!" Nariko said, stepping backward as the realization began to fully set in. It was worse than Death merely recognizing an assassin's worth. She had heard the stories of the rare instances of violent deaths over so many decades. The circumstances in which these victims had died frightened many with the grotesque savagery in which they occurred, causing the birth of a legend whispered in corners. Many had claimed to be her over the years. In fact, so many claimed the title that others never thought more of it than boastful behavior and the true existence no more than a silly myth created to scare youngsters. "Y-you... You are Death's Mistress?"

The winged wraith before her merely chuckled, "That I am. Many other assassin's claim the title falsely. But as you see, I am the true bringer of oblivion."

Rae was inwardly thankful that the others were far away from her by now. She had found that in this state, her bloodlust was almost uncontrollable and she killed everything about her to get to Death's target. To her relief, there had not been any innocents around in the past instances of this change in form.
Her red eyes narrowed as her pointed ears heard laughter. The kunoichi before her was holding her sides in her amused state, eyes wild with hatred and madness. This sudden change in Nariko from her fearful state moments ago was unexpected. Had the fear broken her mind?

"You seem to be well amused for one about to die horribly," Rae said, chuckling softly to herself as her bloodlust continued to rise.

"Yes! Because of this, I can kill you and prove my worth to Death," Nariko screamed in laughter, her pretty face warped in madness. "And then I will become the new Death's Mistress!"

"Oh?... Really now?" Rae's voice hummed pleasantly, eyes regarding Nariko in her own amusement. Her hand rose, crooked finger beckoning the ninja mockingly, words dripping with venom. "Then come foolish child. Let us see if you can take the title from me."

"You'll regret those words," Nariko spat at her as she sneered.

Rae reached behind her to draw her ring sabers from their sheathes and spinning them into her hands. Her eyes narrowed as Nariko swiftly raised her hands together in front of her chest before making a series of hand signs before holding the fifth sign in front of her. The drowess wondered what she was up to with this strange action. She had researched ninjas before, having had to eliminate some in previous experiences. None had acted like this. Carefully watching for any movement, the ninja began to fade from her view behind a growing mist.

"What trickery are you up to?" Rae hissed in irritation as she glanced about. Where had this fog come from? It was not the same as Death's mist crawling across the ground. This mist rose above the ground and surrounded her completely. Nariko was no longer in her normal vision as the blanket of mist grew thicker to where she could only see a few feet in front of her. She did not sense the weaving of any magic like she normally would, yet somehow Nariko was manipulating the air around.

Her pointed ears twitched at the faint whistling sound coming from her left. The wraith elf spun to meet the flurry spinning metal stars slicing out of the fog into her vision. Cursing in irritation, she focused on those that would certainly strike her. Her blades slashed outwards to deflect those few while the others flew past.

Outside of her target's field of vision, Nariko burst from the fog with her kunai raised above her to strike. A twisted grin upon her face, she nearly laughed at how easy this would be to strike the drowess down from behind. This black skinned rat would pay for her insolence in underestimating her. No one living knew of her clan's abilities because they never lived to spread the knowledge. Against this unknown, she had the advantage over the drowess.

The ninja's confident expression evaporated as Rae's back turned at that moment with her own astonishing speed. Blood shot from her open mouth while the pain exploded through her midsection. The drowess drilled a kick into her with enough power to send her flying back to crash through the wall of a nearby building. Rae observed the fog dispersing after this successful counterattack, confirming her suspicions.

"You really thought I'd lost your presence in the fog?" Rae hummed in amusement. With Death inside her, she would never lose sight of her target's soul. She had to admit she was surprised the ninja was using life magic, a lost art that was risky. Most magic wielders used the magic flowing through the world around them and through their bodies. Life magic was the connected to the soul and particularly risky to use. It could replenish itself quickly in time with relation to the user's stamina. But if the user was not careful in its use, exhausting one's life magic resulted in death. Life magic had fallen out of favor centuries ago as a result to where few still knew about it.

"You filthy rat eared whore!" Nariko's shriek came from the gaping hole in the wall, drawing Rae out of her brief thoughts. She would have to be careful, as life magic could be very powerful. Her bangs lifted away from her eyes as the air began to stir about her. Looking about, she cursed as the air turned into a violent whirlwind around her. Her hair whipped about as her wings caught the air currents and threw her tumbling up into air. Everything was spinning about rapidly, glimpses of buildings moving further away as she was flung higher up into the air.

"VITH!" Rae hissed in rage as she knew what was coming finally happed as the searing pain exploded through her back, her wings breaking as she slammed into the cavern ceiling high above the city. Glancing to her right, she sighed in relief that she had just missed being speared through by a large stalactite.

Her ears picked up the faint whistling in the howling wind as she dropped from the ceiling back into the windstorm. The drowess hissed in frustration as she flooded her wings with healing magic. Bones snapped back into place before she whipped them about to shield her body as best she could. Dozens of kunai and shuriken blades spun about in the air as they rose the meet her. Sharp metal clangs filled her hearing as they impacted the granite ceiling. A small number sliced through her skin in her few exposed areas while her wings deflected most of the others.

The whirlwind finally began to dissipate, allowing Rae to unfurl them. Her red eyes glared down at the city below, locking on the lone soul leaping across rooftops. Her wings beat the air as her bloodlust reached its peak.

Nariko's gaze looked up, frustrated in seeing the small figure high above moving about. With the aid of a small burst of her magic, her legs launched her across the gap onto the roof of the next building. Somehow the drow was still alive. Her hands met in front of her again as she began to channeling. Her breath froze in her lungs as a booming voice shocked her out of her focus.

"Alright! Enough toying around then. You want to play rough, ninja girl?" Rae's chilling cold laughter filled the air. "Then let's get rough!"

The ninja skidded to a halt as bright white tendrils flew outward from Rae's figure above. They spun about, weaving and connecting together as the threads of magic lit the ceiling. Her eyes widened and heart leapt into her throat as the weaving web continued expanding until it was the size of the city itself. Crawling across its massive expanse where thousands of small white spiders. No one had this much magic prowess! No one! This was not possible, Nariko's mind howled in panic. Above her, the drowess eyes glowed malevolently with her fanged smile as her raised hand dropped down.

Spider after spider released itself from the web, thousands falling down upon her and the city in a glittering rain. It would have been beautiful if it was not terrifying at the same time. There was nowhere for her to run.

"SHIT!!!" Nariko screamed as her hands came together to channel as the rain of spiders came crashing down. In that moment, the city of T'rissjra ceased to be. Bright fires erupted everywhere as the city was lit up by countless thundering explosions. Debris of all kinds flew everywhere in the cacophony of chaos. Buildings groaned in dying as they fell over while others collapsed into themselves. Dust and smoke billowed up throughout the large cavern as flames engulfed the shattered remains of T'rissja's skeleton.

Rae smirked with satisfaction at the sight of the destruction. She was always pleased with how her magical power was amplified when in this form. Had she been in this form during the war, she could very well have taken care of most of the enemy by herself. Her red eyes looked down upon the city as she glided toward the glowing soul that told her Nariko still lived. Death's Mistress was curious how the ninja had managed to survive.

Landing upon the roof of one of the few buildings still left standing, her vision focused on the cocoon of stone in front of her. All around it were shattered stone. What surprised her was how the roof structure surrounding this shell looks to have been melted and reformed. The ninja used the stone to form a several layers of barriers around herself as a shield from the explosions? Rae grudgingly had to admit this was an impressive feat. Nariko staggered out from behind where it had partially caved in and fell to her knees, coughing and bleeding from her head. Ring sabers raised, Rae walked around the stone cocoon to finish the job. She stopped momentarily as she heard a crack from the weakened roof structure beneath her feet.

"Got you!" Nariko's voice came from behind.

"What?" The shocked wraith turned about to see the kunoichi in midair. Her red eyes widened as she realized she had been fooled. It had been a clone using life magic, the same magic linked to the soul her eyes tracked. She cursed this oversight in not being more observant of her surroundings. Nariko sent her kunai whistling through the air to slice into the stone at her feet. The drowess gasped when the cracking floor finally gave way, sending her plummeting down into the floor below. Coughing and rising to her feet, she glared upward at the gaping hole she had fallen through.

"Die bitch," Nariko laughed as her form leapt over the hole and hurled a handful of black pellets down into the room with her. Rae cursed in annoyance as they fell all about her and began to hiss with smoke and sparks. Normally she would have thought them a silly trick, but not from what she had observed from the kunoichi so far. They were likely infused with concentrated life magic. Rae sprinted forward as the hissing quickly increased. Wings shielding her form, Death's Mistress shattered the remains of the window as she burst through. Once outside, she unfurled the great raven wings and gave a mighty thrust forward as the building behind her was incinerated in the bomblets' blast. She tumbled in the air before righting herself in time to land in the street, her boots skidding through the debris as it rained down.

"Damn you," Rae hissed as she was beginning to get irritated, her bloodlust yet to be satiated. Nariko sat perched on top of a nearby building's burning skeleton, looking down at her with a maddened smirk. Rae threw her ring sabers down; their blade's biting into the pavement to remain upright. That smirk on the ninja's face faded as the ethereal form of a large scythe cloaked in black flame appeared in the Rae's outstretched arms. The wraith elf twirled it about her form as she spun towards the building.

"Get down here!" Rae's voice boomed as she hurled the large weapon, its form spinning rapidly into a giant circular projectile slicing through the air. The whirlwind blade cut through the structure, bringing it to further ruin as it toppled over. Rae's hands seized her sabers as the ninja leapt from the crumbling building toward her. "Yes! YES! Come at me! Let us finish this little game!"

Nariko screamed in hatred as she fell upon Rae, the sparks flying with the harsh metallic clang in kunai meeting saber as drow and ninja clashed. Tumbling to the ground and rolling to her feet, Nariko turned about to meet the oncoming drowess. Death's Mistress laughed as their blades met in a deadly dance, her body spinning about with rapid slashes high and low with of elfish speed. Nariko grimaced with her single kunai, put on the defensive as they dance about the flaming ruins of the city.

"Damn it all," Nariko cursed in frustration as she was being pressed back by the continuous onslaught. She could not keep up with this speed for much longer. In desperation, she leapt backwards as Rae gave a mighty upward swing with her blade that missed. Taking this moment that the drow needed to recover, Nariko channeled her hands together as she landed. The flames about her whipped about and coalesced in the massive forms of several large flaming tigers. The flaming beasts grew with the roar of living fire, converging upon the drowess. The ninja smirked as she would use the very destruction her foe had caused to finish her.

"Burn in hell!" She yelled, laughing with the triumph of becoming the new Death's Mistress in mere moments.

"No, foolish child. You will be the one to burn," Rae hissed, switching her one blade to be held with the other swiftly as she thrust out her freed hand, palm open. Black flame erupted from her outstretched arm into a giant cone of destruction. Nariko's conjurations were engulfed in the darkness as it roared forth in a wave of complete annihilation. This attack was similar to the desert battle and start of the war at the coastline, but this time the flames were amplified by her form. The flames engulfed half the ruins of the city before crashing into the cavern wall with thunderous force, solid granite melting from the intense heat.

Rae's glowing eyes narrowed, observing the gaping ditch as the explosive sound of her attack reverberated off the stone walls. Nothing remained in the path, even flames had been extinguished by the concussive force. Glancing about her in the flaming ruins that escaped the destructive blast, she frowned as she observed the glowing soul moving quickly away. Nariko must have used the large form of the tigers to obscure Rae's vision to stage an early exit should her attack failed.

The drowess spat on the ground before spreading her wings and thrusting them to launch herself in pursuit. Wings beating the air, her form weaved through tattered buildings and flames, smoke stinging her eyes as she rapidly closed in. It seemed the ninja was growing tired. The hunt would soon come to its conclusion. Her tongue slid out to wet her lips in anticipation.

Nariko panted heavily as she stopped in a small open plaza, looking about to see a few structures still intact enough for the purpose she wanted. Her tired body burned in protest, but she paid it no mind. She spun about hurling every last kunai and shuriken she had to imbed themselves into the stone. She could already hear the beating of wings coming in her direction. The ninja panted heavily from the exertion as she backed up to lean against a wall that was half collapsed while facing the direction her enemy came from.

The wraith elf's form came through the billowing smoke as Nariko had hoped. Her lips smirked as she saw those red eyes widen too late at seeing the glowing lines of life magic attached to her weapons, forming a web in the air. Rae tried to dive away, but it was too late as her forward momentum carried her into the trap. The drowess let out a scream of fury as she became entangled in the life fibers. Her gaze found Nariko before she struggled even more violently to get at her, causing the strings to tighten about her entangled limbs and wings.

"Enough of this," Nariko sighed in relief as she raised her open hand outward, "I am ready to receive my new title and Death's blessing as the superior. No more waiting!" She laughed as her hand closed into a fist. Rae screamed in agony as the threads tightened immediately, ripping through flesh and bone. Arms, legs, and black wings fell to the ground as blood poured out of the mutilated torso of the drow.

Nariko laughed as victory was finally hers! She would be the new bringer of death into this world. Countless numbers would fall victim to her as her goddess commanded. Koas would cherish her newfound abilities from Death's blessing and would become the number one servant of the dark goddess. She almost cried in profound joy at the thought. But she could not as the sound of laughter reached her. The ninja stepped out from the wall in shock. How could it be possible to survive such physical trauma? Looking up in surprise to the remains of the drowess, she saw Rae looking down at her with such malevolence.

"Foolish child," Rae laughed with a wicked grin, "You really think you could trap a spider within a web? Or..."

"Be the only one able to make clones?" the voice hissed softly into Nariko's ear. The kunoichi screamed in surprise and horror. She realized her fatal mistake as she lashed out with her fist behind her. Rae easily ducked the desperate attack and grabbed the Nariko's wrist with an iron grip. Slamming it against the wall, the wraith elf slammed her ring saber into the open palm. The sharp blade tore through flesh before embedding itself into stone, pinning her hand there. The ninja shrieked as she frantically reached to free herself with her free hand. However, Rae was already in motion in preparation of such reaction. Seizing that hand, Rae drove her other saber in to pin the hand to the wall in similar fashion.

Rae stepped back with satisfaction to observe her handy work, both arms of her prey pinned high against the wall and leaving her helpless. There would be no more channeling of life magic with those hands. Stepping forward, Rae's hand seized the hair on the back of Nariko's head with a vicious grip.

"No! Don't you da-" Nariko cried out in panic, her protests muffled as Rae's lips captured hers in a rough open-mouthed kiss. The ninja's eyes bolted open wide before she squirmed about in protest, her legs kick and flailing wildly about. Rae held her firmly into the kiss by her grip, tongues mingling before the black liquid rushed out of her throat. Nariko coughed and spluttered, forced to drink the noxious fluid. She violently struggled in those brief moments before Rae released her and stepped away.

"What.. What did you do? That could not have been Lloth's Kiss. That was not poison as it came from within in you," Nariko coughed and spluttered, heaving to try and force herself to vomit it back up. Despite her attempts, she could not make herself expel it. She glared hatefully at Rae before being stunned by what she saw. The drowess was back to her normal self. Black skin, silvery white hair, and no wings. All traces of Death were gone. "What is going on, you wretched rat!?"

Rae sighed in relief as she moved to sit on the ground against a large piece of stone debris. While, her bloodlust was not fully satiated in slicing apart as many corrupt souls as possible, the condition was that this was the fate her ultimate target must meet.

"It is called Death's Kiss, actually," Rae answered with disgust as if being pestered by a petulant child. Eyes wild with hatred and madness, ninja spit venomously at Rae before the drowess continued non-chalantly."It is a poison made so that you will suffer as you have made countless others suffer."

The ninja panted heavily as sweat dripped from her brow as the effects were beginning. Panic and fear now replaced the hatred in her expression. "What is happening to me?"

"Your stomach is already absorbing the poison into your blood stream to be carried through every part of your body," Rae answered matter-of-factly. "It converts the blood into an acid that slowly eats away at the flesh. Soon your acidic blood will begin to destroy all of your body from within. But that is only the physical aspect of Death's Kiss. Normally such pain and trauma would cause the victim to black out and die quickly. The magical quality of this poison is that it keeps the victim alive and conscious through the whole process. Even if only a tiny bit of flesh remains on your bones, your soul will still be kept in place and alive to feel it all. You will experience the agony of melting away until the very end where only your partially melted bones remain."

Nariko trembled in disbelief as her body grew hotter with every passing moment. Red tears coming down her face as she bled from her eyes, her cheeks sizzling as the flesh began to burn away. Rae sighed with weariness as she sat back to watch, listening to the ninja's hateful screams and curses directed her way before her shrill horrific screams echoed bloodily throughout the city.

Rae paid her no sympathy was she watched. How many had screamed as they died at her hands? Had Nariko giving them any sympathy as she took their lives from them? She doubted it. It was a fitting punishment for those who are so cruel to the innocent. Long after the bones had stopped rattling about in front of her, Rae still sat there amongst the flaming ruins. Taking this form was exhausting enough on her body that she needed the rest soon after. Yet that wasn't what bothered her most
Having Death inside her allowed Rae to see the victims the target had killed over their lifespan. She could see how tainted their soul was by seeing the faces of the innocents lost. There was no shielding her from seeing it. She was subjected to it like an exposed nerve. She could handle it better if it was not for the little ones she saw. So many innocent children...

Fresh tears stung her eyes as the drowess hugged her knees into her chest, longing for Richard's comforting embrace. After all this time, she could still not bear the experience of children being lost to the cruelties of life. Her face fell forward, forehead resting on her knees. Her body wracked with sobs, as the tears came flooding forth.

"Why?" Rae cried, "Why am I so weak?..."

********************

"This way," Rizarra called out behind her as she ran up the steps leading toward a tunnel opening. Blaze and Kendra followed swiftly behind her. Blaze couldn't help but look over his shoulder with worry. He had never seen Rae like that before. The fearful expression on her face had filled him with more fear than one of her venomous threats. He doubted it was because of Nariko. He had seen enough of Rae's capabilities in battle to ease that concern. She had acted as if something more deadly was coming and they would all be in danger if they stayed.

"Wait," Blaze called out as he looked to the ruined city behind. A low mist was spreading throughout the streets behind them. "What is that fog?"

Kendra looked back and saw the same thing. She shook her head and turned back to following Rizarra as quickly as possible. "Trust in Rae, Blaze. She wanted us to flee in all haste for good reason. We must get out of the city." Her demonic senses were screaming at her to run for her life. It troubled her than an immortal's instincts would react in such a way. What did Rae know about this oncoming force that Kendra's instincts told her even an immortal should fear?

She heard Blaze take a deep breath of resignation before they crossed the threshold in ran into the dim light of the tunnel. Minutes passed as the only sound they could hear was their heavy breathing and footfalls upon the stone ground. A near deafening thunderous boom filled the still air, causing them all to stagger as the ground shook violently. Dust trickled from the ceiling about as they all look behind them in shock. By the Abyss, what kind of power had caused that to happen? Kendra could only wonder.

'Sister..." Rizarra whispered fearfully, taking a step back in the direction they had come. The drowess closed her eyes before turning about and running more swiftly than before. "Come!"

Her shout brought them back to reality. They reluctantly turned about and continued on. They did their best to ignore the sounds of a monstrous battle behind them echoing through the walls. A brighter light came into view up ahead along with a different sound she could begin to hear as the other sounds grew more distant.

The party of three emerged from tunnel into a large crevasse. The steep walls extended upwards into the darkness above. She saw what confirmed her suspicions of the sound as ahead of them was a bridge crossing a raging river. The light came from moss that was glowing upon the walls and rocks around them as it thrived upon the moisture of this environment. The river water must have been fresh snowmelt as it was surprisingly clear to where she could see aquatic plants and fish, all glowing with the odd green light. Despite her curiosity, it was not as important as the task at hand in reaching Koas. She focused on keeping behind Rizarra and Blaze as they ran across the length of the low stone bridge.

Amidst the sounds of fast moving water, a laugh caused her breath to freeze in her lungs with horror. The others had not noticed it as she had. Her whip dropped out of her sleeve and lashed out with desperate speed, driven from what her peripheral vision was glimpsing. The red leather coil wrapped about the waist of her surprised lover as she came to a halt and firmly yanked backwards.

"You're mine!" Sonora shouted in triumph as she burst into view from the waters to their right, naginata extended forward to spear Blaze through. The air rushed out Blaze as his body flew backward, the large blade passing through air where he would have been moments before. Blaze's body crashed into hers. She grunted with the impact but kept herself upright as her arms steadied him. The siren landed into the waters on the other side of the bridge with a large splash. Her frustrated scream echoed off the walls.

"Thank you, Kendra," Blaze gasped when his breath finally returned. "She would have had me for sure if not your quick reaction." Rizarra looked back to them before cautiously glancing about their surroundings, the drowess confused by what had occurred.

"I take it this river leads to the sea," Kendra called out before the drowess nodded in confirmation. She cursed their luck mentally that the siren would be able to trouble them so far inland. Kendra surmised she must have been waiting for Nariko's findings before reporting them back to her goddess. Her green eyes looked to Blaze before softening. Not again. Her hands pushed the startled human forward. "Rizarra, I am trusting you with getting him to Koas. I will deal with this nuisance so you can get away."

"What? Wait a bloody minute," Blaze said in anger, turning about to Kendra in protest. "I am not separating from you! I never want to lose you like I did with Merodach ever again."

Blaze blinked when Kendra met his gaze with her emerald eyes filled with pain. "Blaze, I can't lose you either. I never told you because it was long ago in the past, but I fell in love with a man named Adrian centuries ago. Out of jealousy and hatred for my beauty and seductive talents, Sonora killed him before my very eyes."

"Kendra..." Blaze whispered, stunned as the tears escaped the corners of her eyes to glide down her face.

"As long as you are here, she will focus you. Because she knows it will tear me apart if I lose another person I love by her hands," the succubus said, wiping away her tears. Regaining her composure, her expression hardened. "Let me finish things with her and I will catch up. I promise you it won't be long."

Blaze still felt unsure about separating from her, but it was not his place or right to interfere with the score she had to settle with Sonora. A part of him felt profound sorrow for this fellow called Adrian. This man could have experienced the joyful life he now shared with Kendra. The mad siren had denied that man that chance. She had intended to wound Kendra deeply and succeeded. Though he would never know him, he would make it his mission to make Kendra happy for the rest of his days, not just because of his own love for her but to honor what Adrian would wish. His jaw tightened in anger.

"Give her hell," He stated simply before running back to the waiting drowess.

"Oh, I fully intend to," Kendra whispered darkly. She watched her lover reach the drowess before they continued on. Crazed laughter echoed through the air, signaling the siren's return. The others were not clear of the bridge yet. The succubus lowered herself into a crouch as her demonic power welled up inside her. Eyes narrowed tightly, she focused on the area around Blaze. True to her colors, Sonora flew out of the waters toward him with weapon aimed to kill. Her arm lashed out and a large fireball of hellfire shot forward. It roared through the air as it closed the distance.

Satisfaction filled her in seeing the siren's eyes turn in surprise to see the attack before growing her eyes grew wide in panic. She was in midair and could not avoid it. The fireball connected with Sonora in a concussive explosion of flame. Her body crashed down into the stone bridge engulfed in flames as Rizarra and Blaze continued on. Her shrieks of pain vibrated the air painfully as she rolled about in agony. Kendra hastily ran forward to finish the Sonora off. Thrashing about wildly, the siren rolled aside until her flaming body tumbled over the edge into the rushing waters.

"Damn it," Kendra cursed as the steam flew up from the water, the flames extinguished. Her eyes glanced about the waters cautiously. Even though she could see into the clear water from the glowing wildlife, it was still at a limited distance within this dim underground environment.

"You fucking whore!" Sonora's hate-filled voice came out of the darkness beyond the threshold of light. Kendra slowly turned about, holding her whip at the ready. "How dare you mar my perfect beauty with your filthy fire."

"You embody the saying that beauty is only skin deep," Kendra laughed in response, hoping to taunt the enraged enemy out into the open. "At least now you must look as rotten as you are to the core."

"I hate you! I HATE YOU!" Sonora screamed, "You think you are more beautiful and men desire you greater than I. Sirens will always be the superior race at seduction and beauty. I can no longer stand a world with you in it. I intend to end that right here!"

"I am glad the feeling is genuinely mutual then, you rotten fish," Kendra answered darkly. Silence was her only response. Kendra turned about as she readied herself for the oncoming attack. The only sound around her came from the river flowing beneath the bridge. As if coming from a long distance away, her hearing picked up the faint muffled sound of a female singing behind her. The demoness turned around, whip raised high in poise for the strike, to meet the siren. What met her instead was a column of water erupting out of the river. But instead of rising directly upward, this forceful jet of swirling water came out at an angle directed toward her.

Kendra doubled over as it slammed into her torso and sent her flying high into the air. The force was strong enough to cause her to black out briefly. She was jarred back to consciousness when her body slammed into the bridge after her fall. That siren was playing dirty. Hiding within the safety of the river while using the force of her voice make the water fight for her. Droplets of water dripping from her soaked body, Kendra staggered to her feet. She cried out in pain as a force slammed into her back, causing her head to snap backward as the water lifted her high once again. She grit her teeth in fighting to maintain consciousness as she was spun about in the air. If she fell into the river below, she would be at a greater disadvantage. Her wings thrust out with a wet snap and beat the air to keep her aloft. Another column of water burst out toward her but fell off before it could reach her.

"You can hide in the river all you want, but I have the air above," Kendra called out as her eyes scanned the clear waters for any sign of the siren. She paused when she heard the same musical tone coming from the waters, but at a much higher pitch. Sonora was still trying to reach her this high above? Desperation was beginning setting in, Kendra supposed.

Water burst forward from the river once again, but Kendra's looked on with shock as she saw it was not a large column of water like the others. Thin as a string, the narrow water shot towards her with unfathomable speed. She cried out in fear as she dove downward out of its path. The water flew past her before slicing into the granite walls behind her. The succubus looked behind her as she trembled in a shaken state as the water cut through the hardened stone. How could she give the water so much force to do that? It would have sliced her in half. Mortal weapons could not harm an immortal, but she was unsure if she wanted to find out if that beam of water could actually decapitate and kill her.

Kendra gasped as she heard another sharp tone. Her wings beat the air with thunderous flaps as she quickly lifted herself away before water sliced through the air below her feet. Kendra found the timing between the water firing upwards toward her and reaching her was very minimal. Several sharp tones followed to force the winged demon to circle and weave through the air in desperate attempt to avoid them all.

"Smug wench thinks she can prove me wrong does she?" Kendra growled with increasing irritation. She would have to be careful as she had been previously in using it. Too much power would alert the gods, including Koas. That would put Blaze in immediate danger. Her eyes began glowing the ominous green as she wove through air filled with deadly water shots. "Time to learn your place once and for all!"

Round spheres of magic glowing with the same malicious green light formed within her hands before she hurled them downward where the attacks were coming from. The orbs broke the surface with a splash, descending further into the watery depths. Moments after entering, the river surface bowed upward before geysers of water shot outward in all directions from the large concussive blasts that filled with air with an explosive roar.

Water droplets rained down everywhere as her vision caught sight of Sonora's body crashing against the stone wall before the impact sent her rebounding back into the air. Her face was a mixture of shock and pain as she fell back into the swirling waters of the river recovering from the disrupted flow. Kendra felt a wave of satisfaction from seeing the siren suffer. It was only a small amount of payback owed for the hurt she caused.

Sonora's head appears above the water's surface, skin burnt and blood trails cascading down her face. Her eyes were wild with furious hatred as she glared up at Kendra. The succubus simply smirked down to her in response, which only fueled the siren's seething madness further as she took in a deep breath.

"YOU BITCH!!!" Sonora shrieked, her voice echoing in an ear-piercing pitch that rang the air so intensely it vibrated all the air around Kendra. The demoness quickly covered her ears from the pain, but it did not help much to block it out. Nausea threatened to overwhelm her as her balance in the air wobbled with the erratic flapping of her wings. Her version narrowed into a pinpoint tunnel of light as the reverberations of the scream continued without end. She felt the sensation of falling before the cold, wet impact shocked her back to her senses.

The swift current of the river took hold of her body plunging into its depths, sweeping her away while she tried to recover. No! Her mind realized too late that she was being taken away from the path Blaze was on. She couldn't afford to be swept away and become lost in the vast maze of the underworld. The demoness quickly swam upward as she fought against the powerful current with all her strength.

A glint of metal caught her attention as she was about to reach the surface. Kendra kicked aside desperately, the blade of Sonora's naginata slicing across her back from the narrow miss. The siren's large fish tail smacked against her head as she swam past. The jolting pain caused her to nearly release her breath. The siren's form was like quicksilver in her aquatic element as she disappeared from Kendra's view. She looked back and saw the bridge fading into the darkness before a laughing siren darted into view again, her blade slicing across Kendra's abdomen as she desperately dodged.

Kendra's frustration grew as her lungs began to burn with the fierce need for breath. An immortal like her would not drown, but lack of breath would cause her to temporarily lose consciousness and go into a state of stasis. While it took time for her demonic powers to repel the water out of her lungs, the current would have long since carried her far away from Blaze.

Sonora's maddened laughter rang through the water as she assaulted the helpless Kendra with repeated swiftness so she could not escape. Numerous wounds covered her body, her noble demonic blood staining the pure river water red. The increasing need for breath and weakening from blood loss was making her predicament increasingly bleak.

Enough of this! Kendra's eyes lit up intensely, flooding the river depths with the unearthly light. She thrust her hand down, the ball of violent demonic energy appearing once more in front of her. She didn't care how much this would hurt as she had to act now. Sonora came into view once again before she saw what was happened. The siren hastily fled the other direction as Kendra detonated the magic point blank. Unimaginable pain from the blast slammed her body as the explosion lifted her body out of the water and send her tumbling uncontrollably through the air.

"Yes," Kendra gasped in relief as fresh flooded her lungs briefly before she nearly lost it as she slammed into the wall. She cried out in pain as she felt her wings crushed, bones snapping loudly. The demoness fell helplessly downward and unable to right herself. Her emerald gaze widened in horror as she saw the floor awaiting her below come into view.

Blood erupted from her mouth as she screamed in pain as the stalagmite impaled her body through her stomach. Sliding down further, she howled in agony until her body finally stopped. By the Abyss, she was going to lose consciousness still after trying to escape from doing so in the river! Blood poured from her wound down the stone to gently flow into the river that was merely a foot away. If not for the pain, she would have been amused at how she had nearly fallen back into the water.

"So it has finally come to this," Sonora's voice hummed in pleasure as she swam into view. The siren folded her arms across each other on the sharp stone riverbank and rested her chin upon it. Her eyes drank in the sight of the skewered succubus, savoring the image. Kendra merely glared back hatefully as she fought to maintain consciousness. "You are like a fish staked by the fisherman at the docks. I could do anything to you right now and you would be unable to stop me."

Sonora's musical laughter filled the air as she pushed herself out of the water a little further so as to reach Kendra. Those webbed hands caressed the blood soaked face of the succubus before bringing it back to lick her fingers clean with a pleased hum. Licking up the last droplet of the demoness's blood, Sonora glanced back to Kendra as her smile slowly crossed her face.

"I know Blaze is heading for Koas," She spoke with growing mirth. "You may not be aware, but the gods are not permitted to kill another mortal being directly due to an ancient pact the made long ago. I know my goddess would love to experience ending that foolish boy's life if she could. But I want you to know, as we finish our personal business here, that I will personally beseech my goddess to be the one to kill him. I will make him suffer long weeks of torture until he is begging me for death, only to deny him multiple times so that the madness may overtake him. Only when I hear him scream out for you, I will tell him of how I killed you myself. In that moment of despair, when he reaches the darkest hell of agony a being can experience, will I finally kill him as he screams in utter despair."

Sonora closed her eyes and threw her head back to laugh in delight at how wonderful it would be. Her breath choked off as a powerful force seized her throat. Eyes bulging open in shock, the looked in horror at the demon's eyes glowing intensely to where it was near-blinding this close. Sonora desperately beat at the arm holding her, unable to break the iron grip she was in. Her body was lifted out of the water as Kendra pulled her close to where they were face to face.

"For once... in all this time," Kendra hissed venomously, blood dripping from her lips, "will you shut the hell up!"

Kendra watched the siren's eyes widen in pain as her grip closed with powerful swiftness. Sonora's neck was crushed in that moment of demonic strength, body going limp from her spine's destruction. She tried to desperately draw breath through her ruined windpipe but could not. The siren's eyes rolled back as Kendra tossed the soon-to-be corpse away. The mad siren's body splashed into the waters, slowly sinking from view as the current took her body away.
"Finally," Kendra whispered in pained relief of being rid of that vile woman for good. It was her own fault for working Kendra up into a rage with her taunting. Using the remaining strength she had, she brought her hand down upon the base of the stone spike. Unable to withstand such force, the stone easily shattered. Her body tumbled to the ground with the remaining stone still in her torso. Her hands seized the stone, screaming as she almost finally succumbed to darkness as she pulled the stone out of her body. Tossing it aside, she finally collapsed as all strength to move left her.

"I'm coming Blaze. I just need a little time," she whispered, lying their limply and slipping into sleep as her body began to heal her body's massive trauma.

********************

Blaze stood there in amazement as he looked out over the wastelands in front of him. Despite the fact that he had been through various landscapes on this journey, this one seemed the most hostile to him. There was no vegetation to be seen anywhere. Only rocky terrain lay before him as whirlwinds of dust spotted the landscape. In the distance was another large mountain rage. Amongst the craggy peaks was a very angry looking volcano sending plumes of ash into the sky that rained down on the vast plain below. In the middle of this plain running north and south between the two mountain chains was a large castle.

"That would be where your goddess is," Rizarra said as she stepped up next to him.

"Koas certainly makes no secret of where she stays, does she?" Blaze joked half-heartedly, swallowing with nervousness as he sensed the final confrontation drawing near. The drowess nodded.

""I have only glimpsed this land once. Normally it is rife with activity such as slave trading or battles between warring factions. It is eerie to see it so quiet," Rizarra spoke with visible discomfort. "This is likely where she unleashed her forces. If she is to gather more to renew the war, they will have to be gathered from far away to the north and south."

"So my approach will go largely unnoticed," he sighed in relief before noticing the wary look from the dark elf. "No worries! I give my word to still be cautious."

"Xas," Rizarra smiled slightly in her own relief. "For my sister's sake, you had best be. Speaking of which, I will go back to find her and your friends. I will lead them here to come aide you."

Blaze smiled and gave a small wave as she turned around and disappeared into the tunnel's dark entrance. He sighed again while looking after her. The human supposed it would be the best idea if he waited for her to bring them to him. However, many questions weighed heavily on his soul. What if the forces Koas was mustering rallied in the plains in front of him before they arrived? Worse yet, he feared that the battle with the goddess would put the others at risk. It was selfish of him, he knew, but he could not bear the thought of losing any of them. Koas would surely know this and use this against him.

Resolved to finish this before any others suffered, the human warrior stepped forward and proceeded down the beaten path into the goddess's domain. It was a long trip journeying across the plains. Hours passed as dust blew past his feet. Blaze's eyes kept careful watch on his surroundings for any possible ambush. No hostile greetings came to him during all this time as the large castle grew larger with his approach. Perhaps Koas had really sent away every soul in this area. Or was she confident no one like him would even make it this far?

It took him nearly another hour to reach the castle. Hand on hilt, he entered the front area that appeared to be a large courtyard. The remnants of an encampment's command center littered the ground around a tall stone figure. He studied the figure the flowing hair around her curvy body, hands clasping sword in one. The other hand reaching high above in triumph as it held an open flame that crackled in the silent air. Sword and flame, huh? Symbols of war and destruction. This goddess was truly in love with causing chaos in the world.

Shaking his head in wonder at the thought, he quietly made his way through the large doors he found at the other side of the courtyard. His suspicions were confirmed as silence greeted him within the large hall. The only sound he could hear was the pounding within his chest. This absence of anything was heightening his wariness. His hand slowly reached back to rest upon the hilt to be ready. The footfalls echoed softly through the air as he made his way up the stairs of the entrance hall up to another set of large doors.

Taking a deep breath, he opened the door slowly and glanced within. Darkness within greeted him with the exception of something that appeared to be at the opposite end. Two glowing white eyes glared out of the darkness, the air around the crackling with the intense heat. The hatred those eyes contained made him swallow deeply and quietly close the door.

"Well," he said shakily as he began walking toward another hallway off to the side, "No one in there. Moving on..."

"Come in... Blaze," a distinctly feminine voice echoed out of the room. The human warrior froze. His instincts screamed at him to run away. After a moment of considering that action, he doubted he would get very far. It would also go against everything they had strived for. Mentally admonishing himself for that brief moment of cowardice, he turned about and threw open to door to march right inside before any other doubts entered his thoughts.

Blaze looked about at the room now lit by the flames within the sconces along the wall. Where those fearsome eyes had been sat the tall goddess on a ghastly throne decorated with skulls. Even though he was taken aback by the throne, he was further astounded by her beauty. Blaze had always imagined the evil goddess to be some twisted form. Yet sitting before him was a lavender skinned beauty whose elegant body was encased in a purple dress held up by shapely hips and full breasts. Long black hair flowed about her as if she were underwater. Glowing red irises fixated him from her yellow eyes, the only physical hint of her dark alignment. Full lips curved backward into a knowing smirk.

"Welcome, 'hero' to my home," the goddess spoke as she rose to greet him as he approached, her footfalls descending the stairs softly. His hand tightened painfully around the hilt of his sword but he did not draw. "I have to congratulate you on making it this far. I would not have guessed you would come to face me directly. I received no word from my servants of your coming. I have not heard from them recently, which I must assume means you and your comrades dealt with them."

Blaze observed the fists of the goddess tighten slightly as her eyes flashed momentary rage that was barely contained. He drew up to a halt as she came up to him. He couldn't help but swallow slightly again as he looked up to the goddess, her height the same as Stavros. These gods certainly were larger than life in stature as well as power. Koas looked down her nose at him, noting his refusal to kneel in her presence with derision.

"So at this juncture, it raises the question... What purpose do you hope to accomplish between us by coming here?" she asked simply.

"I..." he cleared his throat before meeting her gaze directly, willing every ounce of confidence to come forward with his words and appearance. "We have learned you intend to renew the war by rallying more forces here."

"Well now," the goddess hummed as her finger gently tapped her temple in mild irritation, "This is rather surprising that you found out. I was counting on all of you become complacent with your supposed victory. But you are correct, dear Blaze. Now that you know of my plans for continuing the war, what of it?"

"I have come to ask you to stop this once and for all. Leave our realm alone, Koas," he answered honestly. Koas's hand dropped down in shock from what she heard before she threw her head back, laughter bubbling out of her as if he had told her the most hysterical joke she had ever heard. Blaze grimaced slightly but held his posture firm with his resolve. He wanted to resolve this peacefully if possible.

"Blaze. Blaze!" the goddess laughed as she stepped back with arms waving around to the room around them. "Do you not remember who rules over this castle, this land, this realm? My true nature as an immortal goddess is chaotic evil! Glorious chaos is the purpose of my being just as Stavros is for order and peace. Asking me not to pursue bringing chaos to the world is like me asking you to stop breathing. Although, that would be delightful if you could do so for me."

He frowned as his grip remained tight on the hilt of his blade. "So you refuse?" The dark goddess turned aside with consideration for a moment before glancing sideways to him. The way those lips curved upward gave him chills.

"How about this consideration, Blaze," she hummed softly. The goddess he began to slowly circle him. "You surely know by now how much I loathe your existence. How I've longed to know with finality that you met a horrible, bloody end. To earn such malevolent desires of a god is worthy of praise in the highest order."

"I am not really su-" Blaze began in protest before she cut him off as she walked around his back.

"Now, now! Blaze! Do not sell yourself short," she admonished him like a child. "It is something you should be proud of. At first, I only thought you as an amusing distraction from my plans. Little did I know how quickly you would demand my undivided attention as you began to interfere so often with what my servants were doing. You forced me to recognize your talents. Your worth."

The goddess came full circle and fixated him with her gaze so he could see her complete honesty, "Why not serve me from now on with your talents?" Blaze stared at the goddess as she continued on with her measured steps. His arm reached up as he tried to speak, but he was so dumbfounded that he could not bring any words forth. The young man shook his head quickly to clear his mind.

"Koas, after all that has been done, how could you even think I would begin to consider such a proposal?"

She merely smiled to him, as if he did not fully understand the implications of it. "It is not hard to consider. You have the makings for a great leader by how you've lead your little band against my plots. I have seen how ferocious you are in battle with skill that is far above what most common mortals display. Do you not like the offer I am giving you? Think of the rewards of accepting. You would gain fame and notoriety throughout the ages as the one who lead my armies. You would reap treasures and wealth beyond your imagining. The words from your lips would carry greater weight than any kings or emperors."

Koas observed the human looking down to the ground as the temptation of her words began to seep in. It was a natural gift for the gods to be able to influence mortals with the silvery words of their tongues, coaxing them to do what they wanted. Mortals were weaker in mind and body after all. The dark goddess smiled as she thought of another perk.

Blaze felt his consciousness in turmoil from her promises. Could he do it? He had set out to become a hero from the very beginning. Wealth and fame were what he had desired initially. He shook his head to try and clear his mind of such thoughts. He felt something soft press against the back of his head and he froze in terror. He had let his guard down. Not only that, but that softness was at the right height that could only be the full, luscious breasts of the goddess. He felt her arms wrap about him, hands sensually sliding down his arms.

"Or perhaps, you desire something more physical considering the feminine company you keep. I could offer you pleasures greater than any you have experienced so far. Think of it, Blaze. Every night you would get to ravage the body of a goddess to your heart's content. There would be no taboo that we could not explore together," she whispered suggestively behind him. Blaze's mouth went dry as the other head screamed at him to go for it, but one thought stuck in his mind to counter the promise of her words.

"Why would you do that?" He asked, looking over his shoulder up to Koas. "I thought you hated me with all your being. How could you willingly have sex with me if you've felt that way for so long?"

Koas chuckled softly as her arms withdrew from him. Blaze let a subtle sigh of relief escape him as he felt the soft warmth of her breasts leave him. She started walking around him again, albeit more sultry. Was the dark goddess truly trying to seduce him?

"Yes, Blaze. I hate you. But I am willing to overlook everything in the past and forgive you as long as you accept this offer," She answered as she came to stand in from of him once more. Her hand reached up to trail her pinky down the exposed flesh of her upper breast before meeting the edge of her dress. The sharp nail suggestively tugged at the fabric as if to pull it down to release that large breast from its confinement. "As I said before, my purpose is to bring chaos into this world. I would do anything to make that happen, even letting a former enemy pump his seed into my holy depths as often as he wanted."

Blaze couldn't help but feel fully aroused at the ideas she was putting in his mind with her suggestiveness. The physical pleasure with an immortal succubus like Kendra was an out of this world experience. Could sex with a god make that pale in comparison? Despite his curiosity brought about her words, in the back of his mind were the feelings he had for Kendra and the others that he could not bring himself to betray. Kendra was the love of his life. Nothing would change that.

"Now, Blaze," Koas spoke with an edge of firmness, signaling the entertaining banter was over. "You've heard my offer in all that I will give. What say you?"

"If I were to say no?" Blaze asked.

"Then we would be at an impasse. Despite what you have said, I will not cease my plans with the war. Either you are a part of my army or you stand against it in the coming months," Koas answered frankly.

Blaze closed his eyes as he drew in a deep breath as the answer came to him. The metallic hiss of metal rang in the air as the human drew the blade out of its sheath. He pointed the sharp leading edge of the blade toward the dark goddess.

"This is my answer," he said firmly. "Either swear a binding oath as a goddess that you will no longer pursue your ambitions or I will end your existence here and now."

The goddess stood there silently for a moment as she heard his petty threat before regarding the blade pointed at her. Her eyes narrow slightly before widening in recognition. What confused Blaze was the absence of the fear he expected her to be in. Instead, the goddess smiled brightly in answer to his threat before laughing in pure delight. Before his eyes, her body swiftly dissipated into a lavender mist that swirled about to fill the room. Blaze staggered backward from this, quickly drawing the second blade from its sheath. His breath quickened as her laughter continued to echo throughout the room.

"Really now? I suppose Stavros was the one who mentioned how we gods can be bound by the oaths we've sworn," her voice laughed mockingly all around, making him spin about in trying to see any attack. "I suppose if you are threatening me with that sword, you know its history in relation to the Natori."

"Yes. The Natori made weapons such as these to combat immortals. Even the gods," he shouted, anger growing at her continued laughter as she apparently viewed his threat as trivial.

"They foolishly thought the start a war against the gods. Thus we destroyed them completely in response. The slaughter was so bloody that the majority of the gods afterwards made all of us swear an oath that became the Natori Pact. We were no longer allowed to directly harm another mortal. But there was a condition," she laughed with increasing mirth.

"And that would be?" Blaze asked, already fearing he knew where she was going with this.

"Should any being threaten one of us with a relic from the Natori," she hummed with satisfaction, the mist swirling about the room with growing velocity. "We gods are freed from our oath in that instance to take whatever actions necessary to protect our existence. Which means..."

Blaze jumped as the fires in the sconces were snuffed out, plunging the room into darkness as it became deathly silent. The only sound was the rapid increase of his breathing as he frantically searched the darkness for any sign of the goddess.

"I can kill you now," Koas's voice whispered venomously, her breath tickling his ear.

The human gave a shout of fear as he slashed in that direction. His blade sliced through air and nothing else while her laughter echoed once more. Shit! Blaze cursed himself mentally. If he hadn't been such an arrogant fool, he could have left without her being able to lay so much as a finger on him. To think that the presence of the Natori weapons would make the goddess cower to his demands was idiotic at best. Now he was truly in the fight for his life by granting Koas her most cherished wish in being able to kill him. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness, he caught faint wisps of the mist disappearing further into the darkness. He waited a few tense moments, listening intently. But no sound came.

"Come out here, Blaze," the voice of the goddess commanded, filling the air with her words. Despite the loudness, he did not doubt her words as they sounded like the she was calling him from outside. He rushed back the way he came and out through the courtyard. Lightning crackled against the blackening sky as the volcano raised havoc with a fresh eruption.

Blaze drew up to a halt as he saw what waited before him. "Oh shit... Now that is just not fair..."

Koas stood waiting in the distance out on the plains with her back to the volcano. She was no longer much taller than him, but gigantic as she towered above the ground. She had to be at least a couple hundred feet in height. The purple mist swirled about her body in such a way that she did not appear fully solid. The goddess hunched forward eagerly, hands beckoning him towards her impatiently. Her eyes were glowing white with malice.

"Yes. YEEESSS! That's it, Blaze. I no longer want to wait hearing your screams before I snuff out your insignificant life! Come fight me 'hero'," She said with that last word dripping with mockery.

Blaze looked down at his swords as he briefly thought that last word over. It was the dream he had set out for from the very beginning. After all this time, that goal was finally in reach. But he knew now that he wasn't worthy of being celebrated as a hero. He had his faults and made mistakes that you never hear heroes make in the legends. No. He was no true hero and never would be. He was Richard Thorburn, a man who only wished to put an end to the suffering of many. He could feel a small vibration begin to increase within the hilts, as if they were drawing upon the power Koas was exhibiting.

The tips of his blades hovered just above the ground as he stepped forward toward her. His footfalls soon increased as he began to run out toward the goddess as a surge of energy filled his being. It was a weird sensation as his feet sounded like they were hitting the ground with greater force. He sprinted across the distance at a pace that would have had him breathless. Yet he continued on unabated. As the human closed the distance, he saw Koas grimace as her hand reached to her head in pain.

"Damn you and those annoying relics," she growled angrily as her other hand raised high above her. A swirling mass black flame appeared above her hand. The sphere grew larger and more violent until the roaring inferno was the size of large ship. "You think you can weaken me by taking my power for yourself? Then help yourself to this!"
Koas hurled the fireball at him, its roar deafening as it closed in on him swiftly. He felt the blades throb intensely. He grunted as he felt another strange surge of strength swell through him. Blaze could only hope what Rae told him about these Natori weapons was correct. He swept his blades out before him as the flames met him, metal glinting in the light. Like grass before the shear, he watched in awe as the flames parted where he cut them. The black fire seemed to recoil and thrash about wildly before encasing the sharp edges of his swords. Blaze was surrounded by flames yet unharmed as it funneled towards his weapons instead, as if they were drinking in the flames.

"Wow!" Blaze couldn't help but laugh out loud in relief as he emerged from the quickly diminishing inferno, the flames now enshrouding his swords. His amazement soon faded as he looked up. The towering figure of the goddess was no longer in front of him. Instead he was surrounded in a fog of that very mist he had seen before. He slowed down to a cautious walk. His celebration was much too early and now found himself in a trap. Of course she would know how the Natori weapons worked and planned for that attack the fail! He grew angry at himself for falling for such an obvious setup.

Laughter rang softly in the still air around him, before a sudden pain burned across the backside of his right leg. Blaze cried out in pain as he staggered forward, hobbling slightly as he looked down to see blood leaking from the slash soaking his leggings. A flash of movement caught his eye, causing him to instinctually try spinning away. Fiery pain now spread from his left bicep, unable to fully avoid the dagger like projection that retreated back into the fog. He clutched his bleeding arm briefly before growling with frustration as he glanced about. What he saw was unmistakably familiar. Just like Lexiss, the goddess could manipulate her fingers to extend forward with surprising speed while they shaped themselves into sharp spikes to pierce their target.

"Gah! Damn it!" he screamed in anger and pain as he was slashed across his back soon after, her laughter echoing in delight. He spun about to slash at the source but watched the mist part to avoid his flaming blade.

"No, no, no," Koas taunted him, clearly amused at his futile efforts. The mist continued swirling around him. "That will not work because you can't cut what you can't hit after all."

Taking a quick breath to collect himself before the next attack, he forced himself to think clearly of a strategy before he was run through in the next few moments. Koas was merely toying with him at the moment to make him suffer physically and psychologically. He would use her arrogance against her. If only he could strike the mist as he had done with the flames. Whether it was physical or intangible, her surmised that the blades would cut whatever consisted of an immortal's being. Her mist dispersing from his attack added validity to his guess. He grimaced in pain as he felt another slash against his side.

"Mmmmm... Come now Blaze," Koas said, almost purring. "I want to hear you scream. Be a gentleman and make this fun for me at least."

Taking a deep breath, the human warrior ignored her voice as he became still. The air was quiet when she did not speak. The thick fog of herself that she had encased him in drowned out most other sources of sound. His ears strained as he focused as intently as he could.

"There!" His voice rang out as he heard the soft rustle of air, like the beginning of hearing a soft breeze pick up on a still day. His sword spun about to stab behind him, her favorite direction of attacking him. The amused mirth of the Mistress of Chaos quickly turned into a shrill scream of pain.

"You little wretch! How dare you cut me with those cursed things," she howled in agony, the mist quickly dispersing around him.

Blaze smirked with satisfaction. He had figured out that mist was hard to cut because it consisted of so much air. But that same mist was not much a weapon to harm him either. Koas had to bring herself into a more physical state temporarily in order to strike him. In the moment he managed to pick up on her movement where he guessed she came from, he made his move. Glancing around, he frowned as she did not appear as all traces of the mist vanish.

His swords throbbed violently within his hands as if in warning before the ground beneath his feet shook violently. Blaze stumbled about as he struggled to find his balance. The ground cracked in several places as it heaved before the earth itself surged upwards. Falling to his knees, the chunk of land he was on rose hundreds of feet into the air along with several other sizable fragments. Hundreds filled the air all about him as if she had fragmented and lifted the entire valley into the air. Held aloft by the dark goddess's power, the mist spouted like a geyser from the ground before coalescing into the towering form he had seen earlier.

"Damn you for harming my body, Blaze," she hissed, right hand hugging her left side. Her dress had been slashed and immortal blood flowed freely. "If I cannot use my powers to harm you or get close enough because of those blades, I will use the land itself to crush you like the worthless bug you are!"

The land he was on tilted to a sharp degree. Unprepared for the shift, he tumbled down the slope as he tried to slow himself down. Looking desperately for some kind of foothold, his vision caught sight of something that made his blood run cold. Blaze watched in horror as another hunk of land quickly barreled its way toward him. He hadn't felt it in his panic at first, but he could now sense the ground he was on was moving to meet the other in what would be a crushing collision he could never hope to survive. No longer fighting his momentum, he let himself freely slide as he turned about.

"Here goes nothing, because I have no other ideas!" He said as he jammed his heels into the dirt. His heels dug deeply into the dirt without any painful shock to his legs, assuring him that he was indeed getting stronger in body to be able to do this. The halt his body lurched him forward as he bent at the knees. With a loud grunt of effort, Blaze sprung from his crouched position. Combining the momentum with his increased strength, the human leapt into the air across the large gap. He landed with a rough tumble that knocked his breath out a little he heard the loud crash behind him. Pieces of dirt and rock flew everywhere as the goddess huffed in increasing irritation.

"Will you just die already?" She yelled as he rolled to his feet and began running again while several pieces of land hurtled toward him. The impact from several land masses colliding filled the air with dust and debris, making it hard for the goddess to see a crushed body or mutilated limbs flying about. A flash amidst the flying dust alerted her. It was too fast for her to protect herself in time as she leaned away desperately.

Blaze coughed as several stones beat his body as if he were brawling at some tavern. But he had seen an opportunity that he knew would be risky. Hidden within the chaos of debris, his right arm flexed before he hurled one of the swords at her. Normally, such an attempt would have pathetically arched in the sky before fallen well short. Blaze channeled his newfound strength into his muscles and the blades flew from his grasp straight as an arrow toward the goddess's eye. No longer having secure footing beneath him, he fell through the air while watching. The blade flew true to her eye where he hoped it had enough force to pierce through and drive through for the killing blow into her brain.

"Bloody hell," He cursed in frustration as Koas saw it in time and turned. She screamed in pain as his sword cut a large gash across her cheek before flying out of sight. The goddess continued screaming in pain and rage as everything began to fall back down to the earth due to her broken concentration.

Blaze wasn't sure if he could survive a fall from this height, despite the effects of his Natori blades. Glancing about, he a spotted a large boulder falling to his right that was close enough. Rolling about in the air, he kicked his legs out to hit it and propel himself towards the dark goddess. He roared his battle cry as he plunged forward with his one remaining sword raised above his head, intent to plunge it into her chest and through her immortal heart. Pain exploded in his skull as his vision went white hot with the pain.

He silently cursed his luck as he felt the large rock ricochet off his skull before continuing its descent to the ground. The shocking blow made him drop his sword as he tumbled in the air before a powerful unseen force stopped his fall. Blaze shook his head to clear his senses, blood flowing down his cheek from the head wound. It didn't take but a moment for the horrible realization to set in as the large fingers squeezed tightly about his body.

"You... YOU..." Koas spat hatefully, boiling over with rage as the blood continued leaking down from her wound. He would have assumed she was like Kendra in that the wounds would heal without much as a trace. The effect of the Natori weapons must nullify it this healing ability. "Scarring my beauty was the worst mistake you could have ever made, Blaze. I was content in merely killing you, but now you will suffer for this indignity!"

The human threw his head back and yelled in pain as she began tightening her fist about him. He could feel his bones groaning in protest under the pressure. Her scowl slowly turned upwards into that familiar smile as she watched his legs kick about helplessly. A few loud pops filled the air along with his scream as his collar bone broke and several ribs snapped. The pressure was dangerously coming close to rupturing several internal organs. It was pain almost unlike anything he had experienced before as he was slowly crushed.

"Hush, dear boy," the Mistress of Chaos shushed the human howling in helpless agony, easing off the pressure. She saw his head slump forward before she shook him back awake. "No, no! Stay with me, Blaze. I want you awake and alert through all of this."

Blaze glared angrily up at her as she transferred him to her other hand, holding him up by his shirt with her thumb and forefingers. She hummed in pleasure as her free hand lifted his arm up. Her flowing hair, always alive in perpetual motion, came about and coiled about his extended fingers tightly. His eyes opened wide with realization of her intentions. He squirmed helplessly in the air in desperation to pull his arm back.

Koas laughed at this. One by one the snapping of bones filled her ears along with his screams while the tendrils of hair twisted those fingers in the wrong direction. Her tongue darted out to caress her lips in savoring the sweet suffering as he cursed her through the pain. Apparently Blaze still had some fight left in him. That simply would not do. Perhaps if she broke something larger?

"Damn you," Blaze cried out, fighting back the tears as it was unbearable. He refused to give the goddess the satisfaction. Breath seized in his lungs when he felt her forefinger and thumb seize his lower right leg. "No! Don't you da-AAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!"

Blaze threw his head back and screamed louder than he ever had in his life as the smirking goddess gave a sharp twist. With the sickening pop, his tibia and shin snapped completely as it was bent in an unnatural direction. Muscles and tendons ripped along with the motion. Fire erupted in his mind. His whole world became nothing but pain. He could not stop screaming despite his throat becoming ragged from doing so.

"BLAZE!" Blaze faintly heard a female voice shouting through the suffering.

This new voice did not escape the attention of Koas either. Glancing up, her red eyes focused out on the plains to spot the source. With wings beating the air rapidly in desperation, Kendra was flying across toward her. Koas frowned. Was Merodach that incompetent? He had assured her that he would remove the demon princess from this realm.

Kendra's lungs burned and her back strained with the effort as she sped toward them. She silently thanked Rizarra for finding her as quickly as she had. After she had come to, she was horrified with the realization that she had lost too much time from blacking out. In her frantic state, she hurriedly backtracked to the bridge and into the tunnels Blaze and the drow had entered. Further time had passed as she went through several forking tunnels and backtracking from dead ends until the drowess came out of the darkness. When exiting the tunnel, she witnessed terrain crashing everywhere across the plains. It was not hard to spot the goddess. The faint sound of screams reached her ears before her heart almost stopped from knowing whom they belonged to.

"Blaze! Hold on! I'm coming," she screamed as she barreled towards them, her red leather whip dropping from her sleeve. The goddess fixed her with annoyed expression before smiling. She held up the severely injured human dangling in the air. Her other hand pointed towards him as Koas raised an amused eyebrow.

"Coming for whom? Oh! You mean him?" Koas asked. Blood erupted in a burst of red that filled the air behind Blaze as the extended sharp finger ripped through his torso. The eyes of the Mistress of Chaos flashed with satisfaction while watching the human convulse briefly as he looked down in shock from being pierced through the heart. Blaze tried to turn his head to look at Kendra but he slumped forward before he could see her one last time.

"NO!" Kendra cried out in horror, the sight sending her reeling in her flight, tumbling into the ground. She coughed from the dirt and dust as she pushed herself up to her knees. It was a trick! By the Abyss, let it be a damned illusion! She looked up, emerald eyes widened as she watched the finger retract. Blood poured out the large hole as the lifeless body dangled in the fingers of the dark goddess. Her body went numb as her vision blurred, cheeks quickly becoming wet from the tears flowing freely. Koas sighed in both satisfaction and some disappointment as she looked toward Kendra.

"I was having so much fun until you had to show up. No thanks to you, I had to end my entertainment early," The goddess hummed as she waved her hand, shaking the corpse about nonchalantly. "What a shame. At least now that Blaze is dead, there is nothing more holding you in this world. You can return to your realm where you belong. I know! Why don't you take this with you as a souvenir?"

The stricken succubus could only watch as the goddess tossed his body toward her. Blaze arced through the air toward her before his broken body landed in front of her. A groan of grief escaped her as she crawled over toward him, reaching out to touch his face. Cupping his cheek, Kendra could feel the warmth fading from his body. Her mind was a tumultuous storm of emotions as any hope of this being some nightmare was quashed by the reality that she could physically feel this was real.

Why? What did this world have against her and those she cared for? Kendra bit her lip to stifle another cry, the tears not ceasing. All she ever wanted was to find love and enjoy a peaceful life together making each other happy. She believed she had finally found that path with Blaze. Some nights she had laid awake by his side as he slept, arm draped across his chest. Fanciful thoughts would fill her mind about what would happen once this ordeal was finished. She would think about making a home for them to enjoy and her friends to come visit frequently. They would have a small, informal wedding before the settling in to their new life with the future plans of having children. Now both of their dreams were crushed. From the very beginning, was it all just an empty hope?

"Now get out of my sight and take that filth with you," the dark goddess spat in disgust. Koas turned around while her form shrunk down to its smaller humanoid size. She waved her hand dismissively back at the Kendra before she walked back toward her castle.

"BITCH!!!" Kendra's voice rolled like thunder across the sky, the earth shuddering violently for a moment.

The goddess stumbled and stopped. Looking back over her shoulder, Koas frowned with confusion. No longer a weeping, the demon's eyes were glowing green with piercing malice that stunned her. Red and black flames of hellfire whirled about her body as her wings grew larger. The succubus leaned back, head gazing to the heavens as her fanged mouth opened to unleash a deafening scream echoing across the realm.

The flames erupted into a large column toward the sky, mountains shuddered violently as the earth began to shake with increasing frequency of quakes. The bewildered goddess watched the column roar upward into the sky before it spread out with a thunderous boom. Koas staggered as everything in that moment lurched, the whole world itself seeming to become unhinged. Regaining her balance, she looked back up to the sky. Koas froze.

"T-that's... not possible..." She whispered in growing horror. "Merodach said nothing of this. No demon princess has that much power. Not even we gods can shatter the sky!"

Yet her eyes were not lying to her. The sky above splintered with jagged cracks spreading off into the horizon. Like a rock thrown into a mirror, pieces of sky began to break away and fall toward the ground as they faded into ethereal nothingness. Left behind were gaps in which hellfire began to fall like rain. Behind the flames were millions of writhing, twisted bodies. It was the neatherealm, part of the Abyss in which demons rules. The corrupted souls of the wicked and damned resided there in eternal punishment for their horrific crimes in life. Their wails and howls of desperation of seeing the world they wished to return to filled the air. The stunned Koas looked back with realization to the succubus rising to her feet as hellfire roared all around her.

Koas could not believe her ill luck that she was facing the very being Odin had warned all of the gods would come. The one being that would destroy their realm. No one, not even the gods would escape death as the world was dragged into the Abyss. Wary of mortal prophets causing mayhem with spreading this prophecy around the world, the gods quickly set into motion of planting agents to misinform the mortal races with various tales of the end of the world. The mortals whom accurately prophesized the end of the world would be quickly dismissed with rest of the other predictions. The warnings would be heard as nothing more than the ravings of lunatics or fools. But the person before her fit Odin's description. A figure wrapped in flames as fire rained from a broken sky.

"Ragnarok," Koas whispered.

The flames gathered around Ragnarok's wings and began spinning about violently beneath them as she took a step forward the goddess. Koas could not help but take a step backward in fear. With each step, the earth shuddered violently beneath the feet of the demon as she was soon running towards the goddess. The air roared with the ferocity of the flames as the ground behind her melted rapidly. Fire rained from the sky as she thrust her wings out and the flames concentrated behind them to thrust her forward at a blazing speed. In a long fiery streak, Ragnarok shot across the plains like a star racing across the sky. Her long, furious scream was piercing as roar.

"Dammit," Koas cursed. So fast! Green eyes filled with only hatred were upon her before she could react.

"I'll fucking kill you!" The demon shrieked. The goddess doubled over in pain as the demon's fist dug deep into her stomach before the full force of her punch came through. The goddess nearly disappeared, her body becoming almost impossible to see as she was hurled a great distance away. Ragnarok's chest heaved with deep breaths. It wasn't enough. This was only the beginning for Koas!
The Mistress of Chaos finally came crashing into the ground, her body skipping and tumbling several times over before it came to a rest after creating a lengthy trench in the ground. Oh by the gods, the pain! Her arms hugged her stomach, legs kicking out wildly in agony as blood burst from her mouth. Her eyes were wide as she tried gasping several time for breath that wouldn't come. Hot flames rushed over her as the demon flew overhead. The goddess choked as the demonic tail coiled about her neck in a crushing grasp. Her body lurched as it was pulled behind the flying demon. Her body bounced and slid against the earth as she was dragged ruthlessly across the valley.

"S-stop," Koas could barely choke out as she pulled against the tail wrapped about her throat. Her words fell on deaf ears as Ragnarok stopped her flight and she whipped around. The tail loosened about the goddess's neck, the force hurling her once more into the air. She coughed as she tumbled through the sky helpless before the sudden impact behind her caused her vision to see stars. The mountain shuddered violently, gigantic boulders crashing down its slope as her body crashed into the peak.

"This power... I can't..." Koas gasped in pained agony, slumping forward as she struggled to grasp at how quickly her fortunes had turned against her. Despite the gods healing at a much higher capacity than normal immortals, her body was having trouble healing the damage done. Never before had she been beaten so savagely. Even the rare fights with other gods had never hurt her this badly. To put her in such a state so quickly left no further doubt this was Ragnorak. A rising scream caused the goddess to raise her head in time to see the demon upon her already!

Hellfire roared in propelling the demon with unfathomable force, the boot drive into Koas' chest. Blood erupted once again from her mouth as the peak of the mountain behind her shattered completely from the force of the kick. The goddess's body began to fall backwards as her vision tunneled immediately as she fought to stay conscious. Was this the end? The goddess had never before considered the possibility that she could come to an end. She had always existed and always would, she had thought. If she died here, what would become of the chaos in the world? Ragnorak's rampage would go unchallenged and the world would be no more.

"NO!!!" Koas shrieked in fury, her vision coming back as she righted herself. Her right fist lashed out to catch the surprised demon off-guard. The air about them shook with the impact as the infuriated goddess put every bit of physical strength in her blow. Ragnarok cried out as she was sent spiraling down thousands of feet to crash into the valley below. Blood dripping from her chin, Koas heaved in rasping breaths as her fury rose. "If there is no world, there will be no more beautiful chaos! There will be only silence. I will not allow it!"

Ragnarok coughed, rubbing her chin. She looked up to the mountain as she goddess screamed her fury. Her green eyes narrowed as Koas extended both her hands toward her. From where she lay, the demon could feel the gathering power concentrating before the goddess. With a furious shout, the goddess unleashed a large column of black fire down toward her. Ragnarok staggered to her feet before she was driven back down to a knee when the column hit her. She grit her teeth as she exerted her own magic force in resistance while the area around her was incinerating quickly from the ferocity of the flames. The flames evaporated about her, leaving her alone in the bottom of a scorched crater.

Koas leaned forward wearily as she looked on in disbelief. She had put so much of her magic's strength into that maelstrom of fire. Yet Ragnarok still lived? Anything else would have been consumed completely by a god's attack containing that much force. The demon rose to her feet and glared up at her as she spat to the side in disgust. The goddess trembled with growing fury at the indignation. Ragnorak raised her hand above her, the black and red flames of raining hellfire about them moved toward the demon, gathering into a swirling ball above her palm. Her face grew paler and eyes wider as the ball of flames grew larger while the flames continued to pour into it. Within moments, the goddess was no longer looking down but directly ahead in shock at the roaring sun before her.

"Truly," Koas whispered, unable to help feeling a moment of awe in her dire predicament while the fireball descended upon her, "You are the destroyer of worlds Odin described."

The flames tore through the mountain, devouring it and everything in its path like a ravenous monster. It left a gaping cavity of where the mountain used to be before continuing on its hungry path, tearing through several mountains of the untamed ragged wilderness beyond Koas's domain. As if it had finally reached its fill, the devouring beast far in the distance exploded. The realm shook violently as the debris cloud rose high into the sky.

Koas trembled on the ridge of the volcano as she watched the finality of Ragnarok's attack. She was fortunate enough that the brightness of the fireball created a great amount of shadows about her. She had slipped into the shadows to flee from the fiery doom descending upon her. She had created Lexiss from herself after all. Looking back at the gaping wound across the land in the path of the fireball convinced her that this was a losing battle. Much to Koas's chagrin, she was forced to admit she could not beat Ragnarok by herself. She had to flee to inform the others gods and gather them for a counter attack.

"There's no escape!" Ragnorak's shout surprised Koas, turning to see the demon as she barreled into her. The goddess choked as the iron grip seized her throat. The force of the demon sent them both tumbling into the volcano's bubbling lava with a fiery splash. The Mistress of Chaos immediately exerted her godly force, creating a bubble about them as the lava swirled around in eagerness to consume.

"W-what are you doing?" Koas choked, grappling at the hand about her throat. "Are you trying to destroy us both?" Fresh tears escaped from the demon's eyes as she tightened her grip.

"A world without him," Ragnarok stated with grieving finality, "is not worth living in..."

The resolve in the demon's expression horrified the dark goddess into struggling all the more violently. Ragnarok truly intended to destroy the both of them. Already weakened significantly from the battle, the force of the volcano's lava pressed further in shrinking the space about them as they plunged deeper into the earth. Glancing around, the goddess saw nothing but the red glow of the lava. In desperation, she had no choice but to give it the idea that came to her try. Concentrating, a small orb of her black fire appeared above them. Her hand clenched, ignited the ball of fire in a small explosion that would barely harm either of them. But in that split moment time, it created a flash brighter than the lava's red glow so that their bodies cast shadows. The goddess slipped them both into those shadows.

Raganorak gasped as she was swallowed by darkness. What was the goddess up to? Surrounded by darkness, she could feel that her body was moving. Her grip tightened on the goddess, refusing to let her escape. Her eyes squinted as light burst into her vision before both their bodies tumbled along the ground. Looking about, she saw they were both back on the valley floor near where a large boulder had landed and cast a shadow on the ground.

"Since you refuse to die," Ragnarok hissed as she rose with the gasping goddess in her hand, "Then I will make you regret that decision." She threw Koas onto the ground before the demonic fire swirled up into the air, coiling into long tentacles. They lashed forward to wrap about the goddess's feet and wrists.

Koas cried in pain as the flames seared her flesh in a never ending back and forth battle with her immortal healing. Try as she might, the demon's powers were somehow suppressing her ability to change into mist. Her body was lifted off the ground by the tendrils of flame, preventing her from reaching any shadow on the ground. She gasped and looked over her shoulder when she felt Ragnarok's hand seize the back of her dress. The fabric of the purple dress ripped from the powerful wrench. Her lavender colored skin was exposed with freed breasts bouncing, the goddess's cheeks burned with both shame and fury.

"Now," Ragnarok hummed in pleasure, the tables turned on the goddess as she raised Koas high in the sky before her. The red leather whip dropped from her sleeve and hellfire gathered to coat its length. "Do scream beautifully for me."

A harsh crack split the air followed by the shriek of the goddess, the flesh on her back torn open. The flames licked at the open wound preventing her body from healing it as the blood leaked out. The demon smirked as she reared back and lashed out once more, the coiled flame snaking about in the air before biting into the flesh of Koas once again. Many more cracking whips followed as Koas was howling in agony. The beautiful flesh of her slender back was now a savaged ruin of ripped, burning flesh.

"Please," Koas sobbed, tears pouring down her cheeks as she could not bear the pain nor the shame any further, "No more... I'm sorry... Please... let me go..."

The demon stopped as she heard those words. Rather than taking pleasure in having finally broken the dark goddess, her shoulders trembled as wrath boiled over. The flaming coils hurled Koas downward. Her naked bloody body crashed into the dirt. Ragnarok's hands rose to grasp at her shaking head.

"You fucking whore... are begging for mercy?" She hissed hatefully. "Like the 'mercy' you gave him? You deserve none! You sicken me by even suggesting that you deserve to live after taking his life! I will finish this now. GET UP AND STAND BEFORE ME!!!"

Koas winced at the furious shriek at the command given to her. Her back was in so much pain as she struggled to push herself off the ground. She had no more power from the ordeal she had been through. She doubted she could even slip into a shadow to escape at this point. With great effort, the naked goddess managed to stagger to her feet, her broken and bloodied body hunched over. Her ragged gaze looked up to Ragnarok.

The demon's green eyes flashed with satisfaction that the time had finally come to rid the realms of this bitch. With a low whistle in the air, she spun the whip about her head as she gathered all of her strength into her arm. Ragnarok reared her arm back one last time before sweeping it across in front of her, intending to split the goddess's head from torso.

Koas watched the weapon arc toward her, unable to defend herself. Realizing these were her final moments, the last strength she had went out of her with her legs. The goddess collapsed to the ground. All sound within the realm was silenced by a deafening crack of thunder from the whip. Koas closed her eyes and covered her ears as she hit the ground. Her ears rang terribly as she felt blood leaking into her hands from them. All she could hear was nothing but her ears ringing, so she opened her eyes. The goddess wished she hadn't.

Having missed her as she fell beneath the killing bow, the power from the strike extended outward with the full force of Ragnarok. The volcano exploded in fury as the mountain was split in half, the force of the strike lifting it away from its base before the mass of earth tumbled forward into the valley below. Koas gave one last sobbing laugh before blacking out. This was truly the end of everything.

Ragnarok growled in frustration at having missed. The earth shuddered violently as the mountain came crashing down. The impact created fissures spreading across the ruined valley. Lava spilled out from the ruined volcano as it erupted in its rage. A groaning crash caused her to turn her head to witness the goddess's castle splitting in half. Debris crashed as it fell into the deep crevasse below as a river of lava filled it. The valley was quickly becoming a splintered, glowing ruin. Her breathing stopped when her gaze left the castle to see Blaze's body sliding into the fiery pits.

"NO!" the demon screamed, the ground behind her rupturing as the flames sent her flying at dizzying speed toward him. His body tilted as it reached the edge of the chasm tumbling over. Her whip lashed out as she flew over the fissure. The red leather snaked about his waist to halt his descent. She gave a hard yank that brought him flying back toward her. His body crashed into hers, Ragnarok's arms wrapping about him as they fell upon the other side of the large crevasse.

********************

Kendra groaned as she lay there upon the ground, her eyes locked on Blaze a few feet away. Her mind felt dazed as the anger faded from her body. What had happened? All she could remember was the last words of the goddess before her vision went white. The succubus looked back up to the sky and gasped. Destructive hellfire rained down as pieces of sky fell away piece by piece.

"Abyss help me," she whispered tearfully, "I lost control of it..."

She turned over and rose to her knees. Her mind was overwhelmed with the senses she was feeling from her unleashed power running wild across the realms. It was as if she was everywhere at once because of her link to its destructive force. Her eyes closed and her sight sped away across the valley to see two drow sprinting down the mountain toward the valley at breakneck speed.

"Kendra!" Rae screamed frantically, her eyes looking about. Tears of desperation and fear flew from her eyes by the rushing air. "Stop! You'll kill us all!"

Rae. I'm so sorry. I can't stop it now...

Kendra's vision blurred as it shot across the massive mountain range before diving into another volcano exploding with fury of the world's end. Inside a giant pormantor crawled across the vast interior cavern of the mountain as a wave of liquid fire gave pursuit. There were figures on its back, she saw as she drew closer. One she recognized was Nadine. The lycan was screaming, beside herself with grief as she clutched frantically at a statue. What was with the stone figure? Wait. Was that?

TYRA! PLEASE GODS, NO!

A wave of new unbearable grief crashed into Kendra's mind as she watched Kali and Evalyn try to console the catwoman. Aurora and Flynn looked on sadly before their gazes looked at the glowing river flowing towards them. They shared an uncomfortable, but knowing look that said it all. Despite the pormantor crawling toward the exit as quickly as it could, it would not be enough. They weren't going to make it.

Kendra cried out, not wanting to lose sight of them as her mind was carried away once more in the current of her power further east across the sea of trees. The raining fire had set much of it ablaze, fires raging out of control as soldiers of the army frantically tried to put out the flames while building barriers of dirt to delay the oncoming flames. Everyone was covered in soot and ash as they continued their retreat. Driven by flames created by the firestorm, they were quickly losing their chance to escape. Queen Roselei held Callista up with her arm about her shoulder. The elven sorceress had exhausted all of her magic it combating the flames. Now with the onrushing inferno, the Queen of Elves stood there holding her friend.

"I will not cower, even now. If it is that time, then let it be so," Roselei whispered. Her expression was stoic as she faced the flames, waiting for death to come.

Please... Stop it...

The fires of the forest were soon left behind as waters surged and roiled about in the Sonel Sea. Kendra nearly went numb from what she saw. A vast maelstrom seemed to be swallowing the entire sea beyond her sight. A gaping maw descended into a black bottomless abyss. The fleet that had rescued them in the war was frantically trying to sail out of the clutches of the current. With such a massive vortex, there was no escaping as they were already within the event horizon of this monster. Her vision settled on a crew that seemed to know this fate already. All the pirates stood quietly as they looked up to their captain, the Red sisters.

"Men..." Clarissa said as she tried to compose herself, "It has been our honor sailing these waters with you. We couldn't have asked for a better crew... and friends to share this journey with."

"All journeys must come to an end. Let us face it head on. Steel yourselves as we go to meet Davy Jones with bravery only befitting the Red pirates," Marissa finished barely choking on the words, fighting back her tears. As the crew raised their fists in the air with defiant cries, Marissa felt her sister's hand take hers comfortingly.

"It is okay, sister," Clarissa smiled to her, tears filling the edges of her eyes. "We are going to see mother now, right?"

"Aye," Marissa said in a tearful laugh before both sisters lovingly embraced each other in farewell as the ship listed, caught in the powerful current sending the ship forward into the spiral towards the aquatic abyss.

No more... I don't want this!

A familiar beach soon whisked into view as she recognized Kyros. Dark storm clouds above the boiling sea rolled just offshore as they moved inland. Frightening lightning was flashing about constantly as the villages ran everywhere in panic, having never before seen such ferocious storms. Ina Thorburn looked out from her doorway to seas and sky boiling over in fury. Yet the fearful look in her eyes wasn't for them. An aching in her heart caused her to slump against the doorframe, her hand coming to her mouth as she cried.

"My boy," Ina sobbed with a mother's intuition, "Something's happened to my son..." She fell to her knees in her grief as the large waterspouts began to come ashore, the ferocity of their winds ready to tear the village into pieces and leave nothing behind. The succubus's consciousness raced back to her body as she could take no more, fighting against the current of Ragnarok's power.

"I WON'T ALLOW THIS!" Kendra screamed at the top of her lungs as she returned. Not by her hands. She had lost the two men she loved. To hell with losing any more friends or this world they all shared and cared for!

"You are mine and you will obey me," she growled angrily, her eyes glowing intensely as her form once again became the demon of destruction. The power was running amok, like a ravenous beast let loose from dropping its leash. She must reign it back in. Kendra concentrated and focused on drawing the power back into herself in hope that it would stop the destruction and save as many as she could.

The blowback hit her with stunning force as she doubled over in pain. By the Abyss! It felt like she was trying to reign in a stampede of raging bulls. The force rebounded into her body repeatedly in stubborn refusal. Her eyes rolled up as blood leaked from her ears and nose, body convulsing violently.

"I won't... give... up!" She gasped as she redoubled her focus.

Kendra focused on her memories of Blaze to block out the pain tearing through her mind and body. All of those times they shared together, whether she was laughing with him or teasing him with her seductive movements, he would always smile. She could almost hear him, supporting her with words of encouragement to push through this. The succubus gradually began to feel it, like a small stream feeding back into an empty reservoir. Gradually that stream became a creek, a tributary, and then a river as the demonic power of Ragnarok flowed back into her. She howled in pain as it was near impossible to ignore it anymore but she was nearly there. The succubus doubled down on her efforts to put her cursed power back in its place.
What seemed like ages passed by as she kneeled there trembling, her mind slowly becoming aware of the noise around her quieting. Opening her eyes, she looked up to the sky to see fractured lines fading. No chilling moans and screams of the damned to be heard. Raining hellfire fizzled out into nothing. Her breath finally escaped in one last gasp of relief before she tearfully laughed for a moment. She had done what she thought impossible, because of him.

Her gaze turned to the body laying just a few feet from her. Body aching in soreness from the damage done, she managed to scoot over toward his body. Trembling hands pulled Blaze's body up into her lap as she cradled him. Fresh tears fell from her eyes to wet his still face as her hand gently caressed his cheek.

"I'm sorry, Blaze," She whispered. "I couldn't save you, but thanks to you... I stopped myself from doing what I was destined to do from birth. You saved the world through saving me..."

Kendra silently gazed down at his face, somehow wishing he could hear her. She wanted him to know that he had become the hero he had set out to be. She doubted she could have stopped her rampage if not her love for him. She held him long moments before she could feel their gazes. Her breath stopped with fear. Kendra realized the consequences of saving the world from her powers had sealed her doom. They could not find her with her presence running wild throughout the realms. But by drawing that power back in, they were able to follow it back to the source.

"No," she whispered fearfully as she looked up. Kendra sat in the middle of a ring surrounded by hundreds of gods. All of them looked at her solemnly, knowing what she was. What they had to do. She saw Stavros standing at the forefront of the pantheon about her, his eyes filled with shock and sorrow. Had he not guessed who she was initially? Or was it seeing final the fate of Blaze? Either way, she was finished. Even with her powers as Ragnarok, she doubted she could survive a concentrated attack from all of the gods that existed.

"I don't want to destroy your world," Kendra Tansanee said before breaking down completely, choking sobs seizing her as she clutched Blaze to her and buried her face into his chest. "I just want him back!"

All of the gods exchanged uncomfortable, if not, bewildered glances at the sight of Ragnarok grieving for the human when moments before she was bringing the world to an end. Stavros looked on with a heavy heart filled with regret. This was his fault. He had heard the prophecy regarding Blaze and set into motion what he had thought would be the boy saving the realm. He was too short-sighted by believing it was stopping Koas. All along Blaze's role had been to stop Kendra, whom even Stavros had not suspected to be the demonic destroyer they feared. Stavros had sent the boy to an early grave for his folly.

"What are we waiting for?" a female god said, long black hair swaying as she stepped forward. Dragons adorned her armor on her each of her shoulders, legs, and the crown upon her head to total five in all. Her golden serpentine eyes narrowed as she raised her hand in preparation to strike. "Let us finish this while she has no will to resist."

"Wait, Takhisis," Stavros said firmly as he raised a hand before other gods joined in her sentiment. "Did you not hear her words? She has no desire to fulfill her destiny. I see no need in destroying one who no longer threatens us."

Takhisis hissed in displeasure at his protest as the dark goddess pointed a finger at him. "You are and always have been a sentimental fool, Stavros! Why should we listen to you? She could easily change her mind tomorrow and destroy us all."

The gods around him murmured and nodded in agreement with the dragon goddess. Stavros realized he was quickly losing ground on persuading them. He believed in Kendra because she had truly stopped herself. The death of Blaze had clearly driven her into a rage. The answer as to what had caused it was answered as soon as the question formed in his mind. Anubis pushed his way through the crowd to toss a bloody and beaten Koas before them in her nakedness. Stavros could not help but pity Koas. The terrible wounds crisscrossing her back were not healing as an immortal's should. It would likely leave several scars behind. A troubled restless stirred the crowd as they saw the results of Ragnarok's fury that they could suffer as well.

"See her," Takhisis pointed down at the naked goddess, "This demon is a threat to all of us!"

"Oh be silent, you ugly lizard," Lolth hissed in exasperation, giving Takhisis a withering glare. "Both you and I hold no love for the chaos whore. In fact, I find myself indebted to this woman for beating Koas into a bloody mess. That tramp's army killed many of my drow this side of the Sonel!"

Takhisis's chest rumbled like a dragon in growing anger at the Spider Queen's words. Before things got out of hands, as it always seemed to when too many egos like this gathered in one place, Stavros decided to speak.

"I am partly to blame for this," he spoke up, drawing their attention. "I asked Blaze to intervene with his friends to stop this senseless war on my behalf. Kendra clearly reacted as she did only because Koas must have killed this man she loved. But I cannot fathom why Koas would risk her godhood by breaking the Natori pact."

"I likely have the answer to that," Anubus spoke up. The jackal headed god stepped forward, raising his hand. The dirt at his feet stirred as an undead skeleton burst from the ground where it was summoned. Within its skeletal arms were two blades. "I found these out there while retrieving Koas. It speaks for itself of what they are."

The blades clattered to the ground as the gods backed away slightly as if the skeleton had dropped deadly vipers in their midst. All of them could see the faint glow of immortal power left in them from having drunk in Koas's godly power. Stavros looked on in surprise, having been unaware Blaze's blades were Natori weapons. They had been in his presence before with the young man. Since their wielder had not born any malice toward him they must have remained inactive. They were secretive weapons dangerous to the gods by being unable to detect them until it was too late.

"There you have it," Takhisis shrugged, her dragon's gaze looking hungrily at Kendra. The goddess was eager for blood. "Koas was justified in her actions to defend herself. Now to more important matters at hand, let us rid this bothersome demon from our presence."

"Why don't we resolve this without bloodshed by granting her wish," Eilistraee spoke as she stepped forward to stand next to Stavros. He looked to his longtime friend thankfully, who smiled in return. The other gods looked to the Dark Maiden in surprise by what she was suggesting. "I say let us give him back to her if that is all she wants in her existence." Kendra's sobbing stopped with those words as she looked up with hope to the drow goddess. Was it even possible? Eilistraee simply smiled softly to her in response.

"No, we cannot bring the human back from the dead," Anubis said, shaking his head firmly. "It would upset the natural order of life in this world for the mortals."

"Besides," Hades spoke up, also showing his disapproval, "What if word of our intervention of his death became common knowledge. The rest of the mortals would be clamoring to us to bring their loved ones back to life as well."

Stavros was one normally abstaining from anger, but in this moment it erupted in a sudden fury as his voice boomed. "Damned be the natural order or other excuses you have! Including the rest of the world, this boy saved all of us gods by forfeiting his life! Without him, Kendra would have destroyed us all. Yet here you prattle on about natural order to keep him dead while we continue on eternally. He deserves another chance at life. One in which Ragnarok would never destroy the world he exists in." Several of the gods had backed away defensively as he realized his giant fist was raised as his chest heaved. He felt the delicate hand upon his shoulder to calm him.

"Especially if the boy continued to possess the Natori weapons as a safeguard against any further apocalyptic transgressions," Eilistraee finished. The crowd of gods murmured between themselves, seeming to take these suggestions worthy of consideration.

Anubis still shook his head along with the other death gods as Hades sighed, "You pose a potentially acceptable condition. But even if we agreed, there is one major obstacle in our way. We govern the worlds of the dead, not the specific path to them. In order for this human to come back, we would need to acquiescence of it as well."

"Who?" Stavros asked, not fully understanding.

"The thing that is everywhere lying in wait to fulfill its purpose," Anubis answered as he looked around at the ground, mist gathering around them. "Even now it is listening and anticipates our actions. Please come out and hear our request, Death."

In the small circular clearing of the gathering, the robbed figure rose out of the mist. The gods displayed as much discomfort in Death's presence as they did the Natori weapons. Stavros had never been in Death's presence as his purpose was not involved in such aspects of reality. It gave him chills to see the legendary entity for the first time. The death gods looked to be the only ones unperturbed by his presence. The skeletal figure leaned upon its scythe, regarding them with its expressionless face.

"My answer is no," his voice echoed through their minds.

"What? Why not?" Eilistraee asked in dismay. Those unsettling hollow eyes filled with sickly yellow light regarded the Dark Maiden before looking at all the others.

"You gods flaunt your disregard for the natural order you talk about by merely existing," Death spoke, clear disdain in his tone. "I have existed since life began because all life eventually must come to an end. Yet you immortals defy that rule of the world with never-ending life. Now you immortals have the nerve to ask me to defy my very purpose? Thus, my refusal."

It was Stavros's turn to put a hand on Eilistraee's shoulder as the drow goddess was visibly flustered by this. He knew what she was feeling as his heart was sinking too. Both of them were desperately trying to figure a way to bring Blaze back and spare Kendra's life at the same time. Yet Death had the final word in this decision and it had been given. What option was left to them?

"Out of my way you bloody bastards," a harsh feminine voice barked out behind the crowd of gods. "Move damn you lest I cut you into ribbons!"

Even though the threats sounded genuine, they were harmless to the gods. Nonetheless, many an amused or considerate god moved slightly to allow the smaller figures through. Eilistraee gasped in surprise as well as joy when she saw Rae push through the threshold into the center along with her sister Rizarra.

"Where are they? I know they must be here if you gods are here too! Where is Bl-" Rae's voice trailed off when her red eyes found Kendra crying over the stilled body of her Patron. Death's Mistress blinked as she shook her head slightly, unable to believe what she was seeing before she fell to her knees. Kendra looked up to Rae, having heard her voice. A wave of new grief as well as guilt overwhelmed the succubus.

"Rae... I'm sorry... I tried... I tried to save him... But she killed him... right in front of me, " Kendra's voice cracked between choking sobs as she reached out to her friend pleadingly. "Rae... please..."

The drowess could barely choke back her own grief as her body felt numb. He was gone. Through all the trials they had fought through together, he had survived. Never had she thought Richard would fall when all was said and done. She would gladly have given her life to prevent such from happening. She had been denied the chance. The drowess crawled over to her suffering friend and wrapped her arms about the succubus. Kendra buried her face into Rae's chest as those arms seemed to break the dam as she howled in uncontrollably grief. Rae bit her lip fiercely as the tears stung her eyes. Death's Mistress could not withstand the onslaught of emotions, despite the shame of revealing weakness before others. Pride be damned! Tears flooded obsidian cheeks as she threw her head back in a kneeing wail of grief.

The pantheon surrounding her fell eerily silent with that cry. All present were shocked to witness a drow shed tears for another. To see such from one of the most ruthless races in existence was simply unheard of. Lolth looked on in shock before observing the other gods. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment quickly turned to anger.

"What is this?" She hissed angrily as she stepped forward, hand raised to strike Rae. "Drow do no cry or show weakness!" A movement in the corner of her vision stopped Lolth as Eilistraee quickly moved behind Rae, her comforting hand resting protectively on the drow's shoulder.

"Out of my way, child," the Spider Queen warned her daughter.

"Try me," Eilistraee hissed venomously in response, her gaze murderous. The animosity between the drow goddesses grew hotly in the air. Many of those present were familiar with the bad blood between the two. Before things escalated further, one voice broke the tension.

"Why do you grieve for him, drow?" Death asked simply.

Rae blinked as she heard the familiar voice. She glanced over to see the robed figure, not having seen him after focusing on Blaze first. What was he doing here? In spite of her confusion, she understood his refusal to address her by name. Their agreement must continue to be kept in the dark, even from the gods.

"Because... I love him," Rae answered, wiping away her tears and ignoring the hiss of Lolth's growing indignation. "I know he and Kendra share a love much deeper than I could hope to experience, but that doesn't change how I feel. I know he cares about me too as well as the others."

"A drow who loves a human, whom loves her in return," Death spoke aloud in consideration of such a rare occurrence. Yet Rae knew the specter should have known her feelings all along, right? She looked to the figure as it raised a skeletal hand to his face, shaking his head with a heavy sigh. The cowled specter regarded the fallen man held in the arms of both women looking to him with pleading eyes. "For one soul to have brought such change to the world is a feat I have not seen in ages. Saving the world from certain annihilation and earning the praises of friends, enemies, and gods alike. Perhaps such is worthy of another chance at life."

Death looked back to the gods, pointing a stern finger at Stavros. "Just this once, I will allow it. Never again ask me of this!"

Rae gasped, relief flooding through her body as fresh sobs escaped both women as they held each other tightly. Death turned to her as his body faded, giving her a nod. Had he known he would take this action from the beginning? He baited her confession of love out in the open to make it seem as if only she had convinced him to do this? This way the gods were further convinced asking him again was a fruitless endeavor. Cunning old ghost, she thought. The drowess closed her eyes and gave him a tearful smile in thanks as he faded.

"Here, let me help," Eilistraee said, quickly kneeling beside the women with her hands placed upon his body. "This damage is beyond mortal healing."

Kendra and Rae gave her the space she needed as they anxiously watched the muscle and sinew regenerating. After a few moments, the massive whole through his torso was no more. All watched as the Dark Maiden gently tapped his chest, a small jolt of lightning magic shocking his body to convulse briefly. Rae grabbed his wrist and waited patiently to sense it.

"His heart's beating," Rae nearly laughed in relief, feeling the throb of his body's return to life. She hugged his arm against her chest, his hand against her cheek as she watched Kendra lean over his body. Eilistraee leaned back, observing the succubus knowing what to do next.

"Come back to me," Kendra whispered before kissing his lips, her breath flooding into his body. She repeated this action with tenderness a few more times before his body shook. The young warrior coughed briefly as his lungs finally seized upon that breath of life to begin functioning on their own.

The visions of light and a green paradise were sucked away into darkness from Blaze. Eyes cracking open, he saw Rae and Kendra looking down at him. Why were their faces stained with tears? What had happened? He glanced around to see Eilistraee kneeling next to them. Beyond her was Stavros and many other large beings. Gods?

"Um.. What is going on-AAAHH!" He cried out, arms flaying about wildly as he was crushing fiercely by hugs from each side from Rae and Kendra. Both women laughed and cried in celebration to have him back. Blaze's muffled cries of protest as he struggled to breath and not be suffocated by the pairs of large breasts surrounding his head.

"Now, ladies... Give him some breath lest we lose him a second time," Eilistraee chided them as a few other gods laughed at the women's horrified reactions before they pulled away quickly. Stavros couldn't help but sigh in relief before he looked to the other gods.

"We leave the matter of Ragnarok in this man's hands. We have her word that she only wants to live in peace with him and not fulfill her purpose. And in turn, he will safeguard the world against her should she break that promise with these Natori blades. Am I clear?" Stavros said, his question for all but more directed at Kendra.

She looked to him with her gaze before nodding. "It should never come to that. But if ever I was to become Ragnarok again, I would rather die by his hands than destroy this world with him and my friends in it. I will make sure to have him swear to this as I know he is a man of his word."

"We entrust both of you with that. But should he fail, despite his word, know that we will act in his stead and not hesitate again," Stavros said. All of the gods nodded. The crowd dispersed as gods went their separate ways. Many of which were satisfied as they went. Others such as Takhisis left grudgingly, her distrustful gaze never leaving Kendra as she went. Lolth's scathing glared bore through Rae, but the Spider Queen did nothing while the Dark Maiden hovered protectively over her. Spitting in disgust, Lolth left without another word.

"Seriously, what is going on? Wait. Didn't I die?" Blaze asked as he lay there, bewildered to the point of frustration at what was going on.

"I'll explain later, Richard," Kendra chuckled, fondly running her hand through his hair. "For now, let us go home."

********************

The sun shone brightly on another beautiful day in Kyros. The village still existed despite the terrifying sight the residents had witnessed as the waterspouts began to roar ashore. Yet they dissipated along with the ferocious storms just as quickly as they had appeared. Reports came from all over the world of the unusual event of the skies raining fire. The fire eventually evaporated into nothingness, leaving a charred mess behind. Even tale of the Sonel Sea trying to swallow the world in its wrath seemed beyond belief, but the waters had subsided before any ships had been lost.

Three months had passed since then, stories of that day and the war told over mugs of ale in every tavern. Many souls appreciated the good fortune that they had escaped two disastrous events and peaceful times were returning. Out of these tales there were always wild exaggerations of monstrous beasts and unfathomably massive armies colliding. While many disbelieve those details, all contained one consistent element. A human warrior accompanied by beautiful, yet powerful women had stopped it all on a grand adventure. A man by the name of Blaze, from the coastal village of Kyros.
That same village bustled with activity now as many people flocked to catch sight of the hero that had saved them all. Many were surprised at how humble a man he was and honorable in his dealings with them. The village began to grow quickly as the people settled down there, somehow feeling safe to be living in the same community as the hero and his friends.

Construction began along the beach as the town grew, word quickly spreading that a famous pirate was investing significant sums of money to develop Kyros as a home port and to be under their protection as well. All races were welcome in the growing city as many lycans, elves, dwarves and humans intermingled along the avenues between buildings. Above it all, was the home that had been built on the large hill to overlook everything. The home where the hero and his allies lived together after their journey.

Above that, upon the crest of the hill was a field of flowers where the children played. They were welcome to romp about in their fun. Even though it was in close proximity of the hero's home, the children were told they were welcome instead of wishes for privacy. Amongst the flowers where they played was a statue of a kneeling figure looked out over them toward the ocean. The children were never frightened by the winged female statue. Many often told their parents they felt safe under its watchful gaze. As if guarding them as they played was what it wished to do.

Blaze stood there amongst the swaying flowers before her kneeling form. Many of the little girls had created ringlets out of flowers to place upon her head in thanks. The young man's fists tightened as they trembled, his words falling silent as he finished telling her all of these things that had been happening in Kyros.

"Oh, and I forgot that Roselei said she would be sending some of her people to establish an embassy here in hope of fostering better relations between all the races," He added in afterthought. Blaze had not wanted to forget any minor detail after all.

This was his first visit since they had returned, the shock of having learned of Tyra's death sent him reeling into a depression. The others grieved for her deeply as well, but it took him a long time to fight through the pain. With Kendra and the other's caring help, he managed to claw back out of the darkness. Still, the pain remained and it had taken some time for him to work up the courage to come here. His grief washed over him as he finished, wiping at his cheeks in futility to stifle it.

"I miss you, Tyra," he tearfully whispered. "It just doesn't feel the same, living without that comforting presence I always had with you around. I knew you always had my safety in mind as my guardian. Still, I wish I had stayed and fought by your side that day."

Blaze reached out to gently touch her stone cheek. "I promise you, I will do my best to help fulfill your final wish. Someday, my children will be here for you to watch over them as they play with their friends. Thank you... For everything you've done for us..."

The human watched as a bird landed near her tail and chirped happily. This place was truly peaceful, as if it had inherited her calm, quiet spirit. He managed a smile before turning to go, his footfalls fading into the distance as he walked back home. The bird watched him go curiously, head tilted. A frightened chirp escaped it when it heard a sharp sound. It glanced about frantically before the sharp sound came again and sent it fluttering away in panic from the small crack in the stone tail that had formed...

*************************************************************

"Are you alright, Richard?" Kendra asked with worry as Blaze stepped inside their home, closing the door behind him before locking it. She rose with concern as it had just become dark outside. He had left hours ago to finally visit Tyra. She had initially insisted on going with him. But he stated with firm resolve that he needed to do it by himself. No matter how deeply she desired to be at his side to support him, the succubus ultimately respected his wish.

"Yes, I am. I just needed to go for a bit of a walk afterward to clear my head," Blaze said with a sigh before managing to give her that familiar smile she adored.

Looking on as he removed his boots to make himself at home, Kendra could not help but smile in relief. She was proud of him for facing his pain. His depression had made her very concerned at first. She did everything thing she could to give him the emotional support he needed, whether that was being a shoulder to cry on or giving him the space he needed. The succubus had abstained from any physical intercourse with him, as it would not be right given his state of mind. To be truthful, she was famished for some sexual energy from him though.

"Kendra? Are you listening?" Blaze asked, drawing her out of her hungering thoughts.

"I'm sorry, what now Richard?"

"Where are Nadine and Rae? They were here when I left earlier this afternoon," he said. His gaze looked about with a slightly worried expression. Was Tyra's loss making him nervous about losing them as well? Wounds like that would take time to heal, she surmised.

"Well, Rae said she had to meet with Rizarra a few days journey from here. Now that her sister has taken over as the matron mother of the Nitara household, Rae said some important information needed to be given to her sister about some of the other drow houses within the city," Kendra explained calmly to put him at ease.

"I suppose that is for the best considering how Rae said Lolth is displeased with her at the moment. I hope that goddess leaves well enough alone," He said as he sat down next to her at the table. "As for Nadine?"

"Ah, yes! Aurora finally stopped by as expected," she answered simply.

Blaze couldn't help but grin. He was thrilled to learn that Nadine had changed the foxwoman around and became close friends after all was said and done. The two of them had come up with a plan to help restore relations between the scattered foxwomen and the lycans. Kali had already set policies into motion for easing tensions and warming attitudes through several visits from Aurora. The foxwoman's visits to their communities help put many wild rumors and myths about foxwomen to rest. Now Nadine was setting out with Aurora and a few other lycans to find the foxwomen out there and work to convince them they were welcome to come back home.

"I hope it doesn't take as long as they initially thought," Blaze said in relief, albeit a bit saddened by the lack of the catwoman's presence. "Although her cheerful spirit will be missed around here for a few months."

"Blaze!" Kendra barked in frustration, making the young man jump halfway out of his chair.

"What? What did I say?" he asked, nervous at the withering glare she gave him before turning her gaze away with a slight huff.

"I must say you can be oblivious at times," the succubus said as she rose out of chair and stretched, turning sexily for him before she sensually sauntered toward their bedroom door with swaying hips. Blaze couldn't take his eyes off them as the succubus opened the door and looked over her shoulder to him. "It's just the two of us now."

She walked through the door without another word and Blaze swallowed deeply. Knowing Kendra to act so seductively meant she was going to have her way whether he liked it or not. He felt guilty as he knew she had been holding off for his sake. Rising from the chair, he walked into their bedroom to be greeted by the sight her sitting provocatively on the bed with her leg crossed over the other. Kendra bit her lip and hummed with pleasure as Blaze closed the door behind him.

"Hard to believe you thought to rescue me from the monstrous tree despite knowing what I was back then. I was close to killing you to keep my secret," she chuckled. "I am very glad that I chose not to."

"Oh? And why did you choose not to?"

"Because you intrigued me. It also helped that you were easy on the eyes too, my dear stud," she purred seductively with a wink. Her hands rose to her chest, fingers caressing those laces of her leather vest before to loosening them.

"I am still amazed you even paid attention to me after falling out of that chair from your exotic dancing," He stated simply, chuckling while rubbing the back of his neck. Gods, he was still embarrassed about that. Kendra laughed at the memory of him staggering to his feet while trying to staunch the flow of blood from his nose.

"You were too amusing to ignore, love," she gave him a wink just as she did back then, the final lace coming undone.

Her vest fell away, tan brown breasts jiggling slightly on her chest in their new found freedom. Capped by lighter nipples already pert in eagerness, Blaze could not help but sigh in wonder at the most perfect set of tits he had ever laid eyes on. The other women he had been with were very beautifully endowed to the point of drawing close to Kendra. Yet the succubus topped them all as the clear winner.

"Don't pass out on me now, too, Richard," She purred as she rose from the bed, the large mounds swaying as she slid her pants down those mind-blowing legs with their incredible length of smooth brown skin. The monstrous tent in his pants was proof enough that he had experienced a significant rush of blood from one head to another.

"I.. I.. am damn well trying," he stammered and shook his head. "No matter how familiar I am with your body, it leaves me breathless every time."

"Richard," she hummed in a chiding tone as that smile played across her lips, "Why are you still dressed?" She laughed again as the human blinked out of his longing stare toward her before quickly shirking his clothes. The succubus was glad to see him like this with her again. He was clearly recovering. His actions were similar to their first night together. She loved the nostalgic feeling of that memory when she seduced him. Similarly to that fateful event, she felt a similar animalistic hunger growing inside her.

Before thinking of tackling him in that moment, the thought occurred to her how he had not fled in terror from her that evening. Nor did he intentionally try taking an opportune moment to abandon the demon in his company at any time. He had stuck by her side from the very beginning. Even now that he knew that she was Ragnarok. Oh Rae had confessed in guilt that she had revealed Kednra's identity to explain things to the rest before apologizing profusely. Nonetheless, Kendra punished the drow fittingly by tying her up and making her howl in endless orgasms for an entire evening. The demon smirked as she remembered the drowess spraying so much of her juices about, they had to replace their blankets and bedding. Perhaps it had not really been a punishment for the drowess in the end.

"Oh Richard! I have an idea," she spoke, eyes lighting up with her idea as her lover finally removed the last of his clothing. His hard erection swayed in front of her delectably, making the succubus lick her lips. Her eyes began to glow intensely green as her black wings on her lower back grew in size. A demon's barbed tail dropped down from her shapely ass to wave about in the space behind her. She watched him look on in shock with her fanged smirk before she crooked her finger in beckoning him forward.

"Come forth, hero," She spoke sensually in her otherworldly voice, "Come slay the destroyer of worlds with that mighty sword of yours."

Blaze swallowed deeply as this was the first time he had actually seen her in this form since that giant monster had attacked him. He was forced to admit that she was an intimidating sight to behold. Her presence was just as dark and foreboding as Koas had been. But that corner of her mouth turned upward let him know she was having her fun with him. Still...

"Um, Kendra?" He glanced about nervously, "What if the gods sense your powers?" She waved his concern off with her hand before resting it on her cocked hip. Kendra walked toward him with that tantalizing sensual sway before tapping his nose gently.

"No worries, love," she whispered. Her eyes swept over that toned body of his she longed for before lowering herself down to her knees. "Because of what happened, I have better control of it than ever before. I am in form only and no power will escape this night. Now. It is time to feast!"

That last word escaped her in an enthusiastic hiss. Her slender hand wrapped about his outthrust cock as she wet her lips in anticipation. The succubus pulled it toward her lips before pulling back on his cock so the flared head thrust up full and throbbing. Her glowing emerald green gaze looked up to him as she licking him slowly all about that cockhead with a savoring moan before engulfing it in her hot, wet mouth.

"Oh gods Kendra..." His voice trailed off as he felt the warmth and softness around him, quieting his initial fear of it entering that fanged mouth.

Never underestimate the sexual skill of a succubus. She rewarded him further by moving her head downward, skillfully sliding it down her throat with ease. Her hand stroked the base of his shaft that she kept out of her mouth, hand twisting about its girth as her head worked up and down upon him. The demon was slowly sucking him at first with every stroke into her mouth, but her hunger was becoming greater with each passing moment. Her rhythm increased while her tongue lashed out against the underside of his cock inside her mouth, heightening his groans.

Blaze opened his eyes from the bolts of pleasure firing through him from the incredible blowjob to meet her gaze. The demon simply met his gaze with hers, each down stroke of her head causing her full breasts to sway. Pale blonde strands of hair spilled over her shoulders with the increasing speed, her muffled gasps the only sound of her need for his seed. His knees trembled as a thick bead of precum escaped his cock. The succubus quickly pulled off completely to lick across the top of his cockhead with her flicking tongue, gathering it into her mouth with a sultry moan before swallowing it.

"By the Abyss, Richard... You better give me a mouthful of spunk," she purred in excitement, wings flapping for a brief moment. The appetizer driving her into a near frenzy as she dove back down onto his cock.

He could barely stand it much longer even though he desperately wanted this glorious fellatio to never end. Her skill would drive grown men to tears, as he nearly was. Her mouth was hot and wet as she sucked him hard and deep. Her soft hand held the base of his cock firmly while her other hands rolled his sack about gently in her effort to coax out her desired sustenance. Seemingly to become impatient with his resistence, the demon went in for the kill. His shaft disappeared entirely into her greedy mouth deep inside her throat. He gasped when he heard her swallowing several times, her throat muscles undulating up and down the length of his cock.

"Oh fuck yes!" He cried out in surrender to the destroyer before him, his mind going blank as his thick cum erupted into the hungry demon's mouth.

Kendra pulled back to savor its taste with a muffled moan. She let his repeated shots of jizz fill her mouth, tongue coating itself in his seed as it swirled about that spurting head. The succubus swallowed several times with savoring satsifaction before she drew off of him slowly. His eyes opened finally as he came to from his orgasmic high. She looked up at him with an evil smirk as she licked the rest from his sensitive cock.

"Thanks for the meal, stud," she purred sensually, giving his cock a soft kiss on the head.

"Don't thank me just yet," Blaze growled as he leaned down, arms surrounding her to scoop her up. Her eyes widened as she was lifted before he carried her luscious body over to the bed. He laid her down on her back, her large wings fanning out to take up the rest of the bed space.

"What are you planning on?" She teased with her barbed tail poking his leg, smile upon her lips.

"If this is a battle to slay the destroyer, then it is time the hero retaliates," He responded with a mischievous grin. Blaze took hold of her dangling legs over the edge of the bed and spread them apart. He lowered himself to see the perfect petals of her pussy glistening in her arousal already. She gasped before giving an encouraging moan as his tongue darted into her pink folds, licking up her wetness lovingly. His fingers spread her cunt lip apart to allow his tongue to probe her slit. Delving more deeply into the demon's depths, he drank in her essence increasing in flow with her lusty groans.

"Oh... Richard... Blast that wonderful tongue of yours," Kendra cried out, her hands reaching down to thread her fingers into his hair. Her body lifted toward his mouth as he sucked on it noisily, the juices of a succubus driving him more aggressively as any man would. Her body was becoming hot and her tunnel slick while that tongue caressed the inner walls of her cunt. Hands clenching sheets, Kendra began to tremble as she felt that fire growing in her clit before spreading to the rest of her pussy. "Ahhhhh! Ahhh! Richard! Keep going!"

The human simply grinned as the tables had turned; now having the demon at his mercy. His tongue slid out of her entrance and up her slit to swirl about that budding clit, drawing a sharp cry from her above. His lips wrapped about it and suckled passionately on it, his hand pushing two fingers into her steamy depths. He curved them slightly to find that special spot that was her specific weak point before quickly rubbing them back and forth.

"Richard! Not there! Please... DO NO-OOOHHH!!!" Kendra crooned in singing as her body was riding his fingers with abandon. Her clit throbbed in his mouth as she caught his head in her strong hands. Her back arched high off the bed as she pressed her twat into his mouth and fingers as hard as she could. "OH! OH! OOOOOOOOH! MORE! MOOOOOOORE!!! OOOOOOH HERE IT COMES!!!!"

Blaze's mouth was filled with her unholy cum as the demon lost this battle breathlessly, her body thrashing about in midair before collapsing back onto the bed. When her grip on him eased, he leaned back and gasped for air. He wiped her pussy's nectar from his chin before licking his fingers clean as he gazed up to the demon gasping for breath. She licked her lips several times as she savored the afterglow of her orgasm.

Kendra's glowing green eyes opened to stare down at her lover, her gaze traveling down the length of him to rest upon that hard cock. She looked back to meet his gaze and smirked evilly as she spread her legs further. The entrance to her immortal succubus pussy lay open for him, beckoning to enter depths from which many never returned.

"Take me, Richard," she moaned with both lusty need and boundless love. "I'm forever yours."

A breathless human looked down at the demon ready for him before he pressed forward against those wet folds. He felt her warmth surround his cock as he eased into her until his hips met hers. He grunted in effort not to come immediately as her cunt immediately came alive with her passionate scream from being penetrated by him. Her pussy was a hot wet furnace while amazingly tight at the same time. This allowed both of them to feel the maximum friction as he pulled back and slammed forward into her once more. The pussy of a succubus was simply an indescribable sensation as it hungrily caressed his shaft for his life essence.

Kendra let out an unearthly feral scream that shook their home as she was filled to the fullest by the glorious cock. The passionate fire that roared inside her chest and groin made her forget everything but him as she bucked her hips upward to meet his frenzied thrusts. Her hands flew to his shoulder to grip him tightly as she took full enjoyment of him ravaging her body. Both their bodies were glistening with sweat from the exertion and heat they generated together in their passion.
"More! Fuck me more, Richard! Harder! Faster! Deeper! GOOOODS! OOH!!! OH!! MORE!! POUND MY CUNT INTO OBLIVION!!!" She screamed, head tossing as the bed rocked with their furious lovemaking.

Blaze leaned over in his effort to comply with her demands, her perfect large brown tits bouncing up and down on her chest beautifully with every drive home into her. His hands seized those mounds, each much larger than a handful, and groped them roughly. The demon gave a howling scream as her sensitive tits were kneaded by his powerful hands, hard nipples sending sharp barbs of lightning firing through her body to her pussy with every touch.

"Richard!" The tan-skinned demon hissed as she reached the precipice of a greater orgasm than the previous one. She raised her legs high and spread them wide around his waist, thrusting her pelvis up and grinding her wet pussy against him. "Give it to me! Give me everything you got! Yes! Like that! OOOOOH OOOOHH FUCK THAT FEELS SO DAMN GOOD!"

The young human's hands left her breasts to grab the demon's legs and place them over his shoulders. He moaned her name loudly as he could feel himself slid deeper at this angle when he plunged downward. The bed was rocking as he began to piston with his powerful, quick thrusts into her. The succubus could only respond with this new angle and rhythm with a sensual, purring scream. Her inner muscles clutched at him tightly. Kendra was trembling as her cunt felt hotter and wetter than ever before. Blaze realized she had been in great need of this for some time. It made him only more determined to give her the climax she craved.

"Richard, you are amazing," She yelled. Tears slid from the corners of her eyes as Kendra found herself in a blissful state. She cupped her large breasts with her hands, letting her fingers caress those elongated nipples. The demon felt his hips launch into a series of powerful strokes that filled the room with resounding wet slaps of their hips meeting each time as he rapidly fucked her cunt with one last surge of everything.

"THAT'S IT HERO! HERE IT COMES AGAAAAIN!!! FUCK ME RICHARD! DESTROY MY DEMON CUNT YOU DAMN AMAZING HUMAN!!! OH YEEESSSS!!! YEEEEEEEEEEESSS!!!" Kendra shrieked as her orgasm exploded through her mind and body with brilliance to make her see stars. Her hot thick, juices sprayed out the drench his hips and stomach as her demonic body shook in violent orgasm. She could hear Blaze grunt in futility at the succubus cunt clenching and spasm wildly about his cock, driving him over the edge with her.

"Just can't hold back anymore!" He roared before giving one final thrust to finish the thrashing destroyer beneath him.

"Ahhh! Richard, your cum is hot! Fuck! It's so hot inside of me!" Kendra groaned as the human seed spurt into her unholy tunnel with load after load until he filled her deeply inside. She gave a small cry from another weaker orgasm hitting her before shuddering. Her hands went to her stomach as she collapsed back onto the bed, cherishing that warm gift from him inside her.

Her lover wavered above her before she drew him down into her body with a loving smile. He looked ready to pass out. Richard had truly given her every ounce of strength he had for her. Those large black wings folded upwards and around his body as her tail coiled about his legs possessively. She kept him inside her, enjoying the feel of their connection there and never wanting to let go. Never again. The succubus held him tenderly as he was fading fast from exhaustion.

"I love you, Richard Thorburn," she whispered as his eyes drifted closed. Kendra Tansanee felt joy and contentment wash over her as she kissed his forehead. Slowly the power of Ragnarok lifted, her form returning to normal as her succubus hunger had been fully satiated by the sexual energy they created. Closing her eyes, she fell asleep with him in her arms. One of the most peaceful slumbers she had not had for centuries...

Blaze blinked as he found himself surrounded by white space. It was an odd sensation seeing the lack of anything present around him. Was he dreaming? He must be dreaming because he could not fully feel his physical self. He remembered specifically falling asleep in Kendra's embrace, listening to her loving words as his weariness overcame his exhausted body. But if this was a dream, why was it so vivid to him? Especially with the only tangible entity in sight right there in front of him.

"Hello?" he spoke out, his voice echoing in the void as he looked to the black figure in front of him.

The black figure stood there with its back to him. It was about the same height of Kendra. The figure was clearly feminine as she swayed back and forth. Both hands were raised to cat-like ears protruding out the top of her head. A long cat tail twirled about in the air with her hip movements. She was not lycan, though. No. She did not have the physical prowess of your average lycan female. Her body was human. Her body appeared to be equally curvaceous as his succubus lover's body. To his frustration he could not make out her clothing as she appeared as merely a shadow.

"Hello? Who are you?" Blaze asked once more as he stepped up behind her. Still, the figure swayed back and forth in a rhythmic motion with her hands to her ears. He could see her head bobbing slightly now that he was closer. And... What was that? Was that music that he heard? He could barely hear it but it was clearly there and coming from her.

Blaze's frustration boiled over as he stepped forward, placing a hand on her shoulder. He froze as he felt real contact of his hand on skin. The shadow female's head turned in surprise, her face black except for the deep blue eyes gazing into his.

He gasped as he was startled awake by those eyes. His vision blurred in the darkness before focusing in the dim light. He was no longer in the white void, but the familiar surroundings of their bedroom. Kendra lay close to his side, her arm draped possessively across his chest as always while she slept peacefully.

Blaze lay on his back, breathing heavily to try and regain some composure. What was with that dream? He looked down to his trembling hand, knowing he was not imagining that part. He had touched another person. She was a real person in that void. What troubled him the most were those vibrant blue eyes. Without knowing why, something told him this shadow woman would change his life forever...

The shattered ruins of the domain of the Mistress Chaos remained the same as the day of its destructive battle. The abandoned castle lay in split ruins as lava ran in hot rivers across the valley. The volcano rumbled on in indignant anger as it slowly built itself back from the earth. The foul races refused to go anywhere near this place, calling it cursed because of the inhabitable environment that now persisted.

"So," she hummed in curiosity as her eyes overlooked the wasteland from on high a nearby mountain's precipice, "this is where she awoke. I wonder why she stopped." The three figures behind her looked on before one of them spoke.

"We have no information on why Ragnarok stopped destroying this world. We were only able to find out she had finally awoken from our intelligence operatives. That kind of destructive force sent the cowardly fools into a panic."

"Please do not insult my people," one of the other figures spoke with a frustrated sigh, "I have sent them here and abroad to gather more information. It seems they have found that Ragnarok is living far away from here in a coastal village with a man and a couple other females."

"Oh?" she laughed "Could it be love is the reason that Ragnarok stopped? How silly of her..."

"Should we begin the operation now that we have discovered she exists?" the third figured asked, her voice tinged with eagerness for destruction.

They looked on as she turned to face them, her lips spreading into a wicked smile. Madness filled her gaze as she looked upon her companions. "Yes," she said with a cruel laugh, "We will start setting our plans into motion. It will not be long before we achieve the goal I have longed for during these past few centuries. With Ragnarok, I will soon be able to hear every man and woman's screams of agony down to the last child as they all suffer the horrible deaths they rightly deserve..."
